Gelco GSeat Ultra Pressure Cushion

This is as good as the majority of users say it is - that is, excellent. Having tried all manner of home furnishing type cushions, none of which was completely suitable, I was persuaded to invest in one of these. It has the characteristics a prostatitis sufferer needs - firm support either side with a well placed "well" to relieve the perineum area of pressure. It fits easily on most chairs and car seats and is easily carried around. My wife made me a simple loose cover to conceal the rather austere appearance of the cushion. The price seems high at first but believe me it is well worth it for the relief it brings. Also, I rarely need to take painkillers for prostatitis now.

If because of a medical condition you need a comfortable cushion this may not be suitable for you , I found it to be too firm and have not been able to use it which has been a complete waste of my money

I'm not 100% sure why it didn't work for my chronic prostatitis, but my feeling is that it was too soft. This meant that as I sunk into it I had more of my perineal region in contact with the cushion which is where I need to remove pressure from to ease the pain. Personally what I have found better is to use a foot stool to raise my knees which causes weight to be shifted back from the perineal region.

Works when new but over the last eight months since I bought it, it has lost it's gel-ness, it's a lot flatter than it used to be and no longer provides the support needed to relieve the pressure on the target area! For the money, it needs to last longer than this. Yes, I sit on it most days but that's what it's *for*.

Ok, so a bit expensive but a massive help to me - especially for driving long distances. Update...after a period of use, it flattens out a bit and loses some of its support. Guess it depends on your weight and #hours use...I'd say this was great in year1, but now after 2 years it has really flattened out. Update Nov 2021 - I have bought three of these in 6 years...

Really good cushion to help commuting. I have sciatica and drive a BMW with tough leather seats. It's really helped with my commute and very comfortable. It doesn't slip at all. Worth the money.

Didn't work for my Chronic Prostatitis. It was just as painful to sit using this cushion as it was to sit without it.

Seems good quality,bought this for my husband who has prostate pain,unfortunately it doesn't work for him!

Decisamente un ottimo prodotto, buoni i materiali esterni e l'imbottitura. Il supporto è assicurato e lascia libere le parti molli che non risentono del peso del corpo. Sicuramente uno dei migliori mai provati anche perchè resta stabile sia su sedie normali che su sedie d'ufficio. I punti negativi tuttavia ci sono.. 1) è molto grande e in macchina risulta difficile posizionarlo correttamente; 2) non è sfoderabile. Nel complesso è il migliore che abbia mai usato anche se il prezzo è davvero troppo eccessivo.

El mejor cojín para la espalda, no hay otro igual. Resulta un poco caro y no siempre hay stock pero merece la pena.

Prodotto fatto bene con materiali resistenti all'usura. Dimensioni giuste convenientemente portatile in quanto si piega in due e ha una maniglia. Un pochettino caro ma fa il suo dovere.
