Picture frame glass breaks sometimes. Let’s be real. It’s a shame that it’s so difficult to find replacement glass or plexiglass that doesn’t break the bank. Exhaustive searches all came up expensive. You either have to buy in multi-packs that you don’t need or custom order and pay through the nose for shipping to get one piece. The local hobby stores don’t even carry single replacements. The local home stores are also pricey to cut one piece. How is it that it’s less expensive to buy a whole new frame? Oddly enough, that’s how we ended up with the whole frame when all we wanted was the plexiglass. For that reason, it really didn’t matter what the frame looked like. We normally wouldn’t get a basic black plastic frame. To review the acrylic plexiglass, however, it’s great. It fits our existing frame as a simple replacement for broken glass. The art looks new again. And we don’t have to worry about glass breaking again. The acrylic is as clear as glass and looks fine. It’s just too bad that the rest of the frame is wasted. Oh, we should mention the backing. The latches were easy to undo to take the frame apart, and there are embedded hangers both horizontally and vertically. The hangers look to be attached well enough for a poster, but we wouldn’t be comfortable with them supporting heavy artwork. All in all, we want to deduct points for the principle that you have to waste a frame to get a simple replacement part. But that’s not this particular frame’s fault. And in fact, this relatively inexpensive frame allowed us to get the part we needed. So if you don’t mind black and want to use the plastic poster frame as a whole, it’s a nice product and it deserves a 5.

I was looking for a picture frame that had a low profile. The location that the frame was going to be placed in had a low clearance due to an upside-hinged swinging medicine cabinet door. This picture frame was perfect for the application and allowed the medicine cabinet door to open unobstructed. Also, the picture frame is made of non-shatterable material making it ideal for use in our camper trailer. The external dimensions were exact which was important as the wall space where the frame was going to be used was limited. The color of the frame was uniform, the frame was not warped, there were no visible seams of small gaps at the corners, the transparency of the "glass" was clear, and the frame appeared to be well-assembled.

I purchased this to frame a poster for my nephew, and it was the right size for the poster. I was a little disappointed in the quality of the frame. It seemed a little cheaply made, but it served its purpose. I thought it would be glass but it was plastic.

My mother enjoys doing puzzles so we started shopping for ones her grandchildren would enjoy having. I buy the puzzle preserve, add a couple of coats then put it in this frame. It’s light weight and fits perfectly! Super easy to put in and hang up!

This 12x24 frame works perfectly to display the album artwork that I got with a vinyl from one of my favorite bands. The plastic is a bit reflective so it does look glass like, especially with how clear it is.

Really happy with this purchase, I was truly surprised by the overall quality and build. while these could be considered “cheep” plastic frames, and not ment for professional framing / displays, but for quick decor and promotional displays they great. They do appear to be reasonably sturdy especially in the corner joints where other wood frames tend to be weaker. They almost feel like an aluminum frame and I even like the riveted spring clips to hold the back panel. I don’t know if it’s in the description but the thin plexi has two protective films, if you want to reduce glare or desire a matte look, make sure you only peel of the side with the logos on it. These may not be meant for foam poster board but you can get away with max 3/16 in foam core, but you have to bend the clip tips flat to make them work. I have a few more to frame and plan to purchase more.

frames a beautiful poster I purchased from Amazon and made the whole package less expensive but with an expensive enough feel. the cover (clear plastic) is one of the reasons I bought this frame, it was the same plastic (glare protection) as the other one I purchased. while the assembly was good, the frame is not the sturdiest, probably the size. Hung the Frame on the attached holders placed on the backing and it appears to be sturdier, less bending on the frame top.

I was so happy to get an affordable frame for an art piece one of my friends Paint painted. I love it to pieces
