Did the job
We had a three year old escape artist on our hands. I installed this and the chest straps after he completely escaped and tried to climb into the front seat. Even modified after market parts are safer than that.That was 1.5 years ago and today a much more sensible 4 year old asked if we could take them off last week so he could unbuckle himself when it was time to get out.It got us through the 3s and worked as needed. Although it may have contributed to some additional window opening as a protest.I will admit that this part was so effective that I bought a seat belt cutter just in case we ever had an emergency.

Life saver
Our ASD 4 year old is quite the escape artist. These have been life changing for us. Although he still gets his tip straps unsecured, he hasn’t figured this out and that makes me very happy to know he’s safe. I didn’t know how we were going to fix our issue of him unbuckling in the car and this completely solved it. We now have 3 of these. It comes with a tool to release the button but we ended up just using our fingers under the lip. We have Graco DLX car seats and it fit them just fine.

Inaccurate description!
Description EXPLICITLY states “universal fit” but it is NOT. I now have a completely useless buckle lock that I can do nothing with, since it doesn’t fit my son’s car seat buckle. Do not buy this product!

Peace of mind
For the last two years, this Product has given me a piece of mind every time we drive. It’s totally worth it. It’s not always fun to adjust, but you get used to it. Great quality, sure it will last As long as we need it.

Car Seat Houdini, finally locked in.
Keeps my 2 year old car seat escape artist LOCKED IN. She was screaming mad that she can no longer bust free, I on the other hand was extremely pleased!Easy to install, with step by step directions with photos. Used in a Graco Car Seat.

Child may still be able to get out
My child is 4 and has ASD so I purchased this item along with the chest clip. The installation was fairly easy, however the safety isn’t there for my case. I believe if your child isn’t little Houdini it’ll be great, but in my case my child figured it out the first day of installing.
