Cracking cheap little camera works straight out of the box. Recommended!

For the price, this little dash cam does exactly what you need. No issues with fitting, set-up or use. Video quality is better than expected and for this low price you would have difficulty finding anything as good. Suction pad mounting works well on a clean window. USB adapter works well to allow PC access to files. Video is clear, audio is adequate. I have to say that I am impressed with this low cost item. Would recommend it to anyone.

It's not the best, but it does its job.

Purchased nearly a year ago, and was happy with the quality of the features apart from park mod, which it seems you need to physically push the park mode button every time you want it to monitor when the engine is switched off, let’s face it, in the real world how many owners will remember to do that. Anyway a couple of days ago our family car was crashed into by another vehicle at a junction. Heavy enough that the other driver couldn’t get out of the drivers side. No problem I thought I will down load it. I removed the sad card, which was recording at the time, only to find the incident had been written over, no saved files that were protected as the write up suggests. So all in all, I was not impressed, and can only suggest if anyone has one, have the biggest sad card it will take (32mb) and turn it off as soon as you have the need to rely on it. For me, I’ll look at getting something else.

Battery very poor and has to be plugged in at all times to work. Has now stopped working and when plugged in goes on and off repeatedly which is dangerous when driving as a distraction so have removed it

Bought one like this previously and so assumed it would come with a memory card. It probably said somewhere in the small print, but I missed that so ended up forking out £6 to buy a card. Check before you buy therefore!
