Plenty of sticky glue on the back side to (attempt) to keep it stuck to the table. I only say attempt because my toddler works hard to rip it off. But honestly great item to have when out to eat in public with little ones.

I've tried a few brands of disposable and reusable travel placemats and I like these ones the best. First off, the kids can peel them up. There's no placemat that they can't. You have to teach your kids not to peel it up. It helps to only apply the mat right as the food arrives, and/or immediately start pointing at the animals and make the design on the mat more interesting than the act of pulling it up. These ones are thick enough that they don't tear. The munchkin brand ones are thicker but are also twice the price, and with twins, I go through a lot of these. These mats give the kids a sanitary place to eat for that age when they haven't yet learned what a plate is and how to not throw it. It also makes cleanup at restaurants a breeze because you can just throw the leftover food and wipes onto the mat and then wrap it up into a ball and throw it out. Doesn't help with the floor situation (you might put a mat or two at the base of the high chair?) but it keeps the tabletop clean. The designs on these ones are great. Animals are a toddler favorite and they love pointing at and identifying all of the animals. The three different designs means we can pull out two different mats and have double the animal noises distractions while we try to eat our own food. In fact these ones are so interesting that my girls pushed away *french fries* to start pointing at animals. Other mats have been too abstract or too simple to really grasp their attention for long.

This is great for little ones who don't know how to use forks and spoons yet and like to throw bowls, it keeps your baby safe from eating off the table that might not be clean and great for teaching animals. the clean up is super easy cause we can just lift the mat and toss. The only annoying this is the static from pulling the paper off the adhesive it sticks to your hands and clothes which takes time from trying to set it down as quickly as possible. It is something I don't mind dealing with since I do like the product.

Nice but wish the pull tabs were a bit more visual to see pull area.

These are great, both at home and out. 17 month old's love the pictures, we use them for education purposes as well, "Where is the cow" and so forth. Easy to apply, start with the top and remove the adhesive tape, as well as one side. Place where you want on the surface, then remove the other two sides to complete. Easy to clean, I leave them in place for the day, then remove after dinner. Does not hurt the table finish that we have. Kid's love them.

Great mats! We used them every time we went out to restaurants, where we could. Compact and easy to carry and all you need to do is unfold and peel. We turned it into a game for ours and used the placemat pictures as an "I Spy" game. It really helped in the beginning when food was spilled; we could just pick it up off the mat and return it to his plate to eat; no need worry about cleanliness of the table

I had seen some of these used by a family a few years ago when in a restaurant and thought they were a great idea. Have a grandbaby that sits in a highchair now, so these make me more at ease about her eating at the table knowing this covers the main area where she sits. The only complaint I have of them is if a table is textured, they tend to not stick as well. If surface is completely flat and smooth, they are fantastic.

I love these tablecloths / placemats for my two year old. They work perfectly, they stick great, but not too much that makes it difficult to remove at the end of the meal. We only use it for dining out in restaurants. I also LOVE that there are three different designs so she doesn't get bored seeing the same one for months every time we go eat. ***Now if I could just get the non-thinking servers to STOP putting the dishes on top of these ( it is to prevent germs from getting into my child's mouth). I guess they don't have kids or don;t care - I just install the bottom half, leave it flipped in half (to protect the top), then after the food comes I stick the rest of the mat down, then we put baby in the highchair (she can't take sitting in the highchairs for too long at restaurants. I don't think those highchairs must be very comfortable... now there's a great invention , more comfortable highchairs for commercial use so the parents can actually heat their food and the baby can be happier longer in the high chair!

We used it while travelling to Singapore and my son played and enjoyed looking at the animals . Placed his finger food and he enjoyed eating in it. Good and mess free 👍🏻 perfect companion for travelling with babies
