Semi Permanent Hair Color, 164 Electric Lime, 4 Fl Oz

(electric lime x2) This color is incredible it covered 2 year old splotch of red and the yellow-brown-green uneven color. I left it on for (left to right) about 14 min, 30 sec, 3 min, then rinsed and (unnecessarily shampooed) and rinsed again with hot water until clear water. I didn't stain my clothes or pillow. It definitely has staying power so I think it be tough to remove. This color is very bright, much brighter the hair loop photo shown with the product. Its almost neon. I mixed it 50/50 with arctic fox Poseidon (not pictured) and it gave a super true medium-dark emerald green after processing 12 ish minutes. My hair level is about medium dirty blonde with random color streaks so you don't need to go level 10-11 for super bright color. On 10-11 level hair it would definitely be super bright true neon green. Its VERY LIQUID LIKE I applied on freshly washed air dried hair and it definitely took a lot of product to saturate multiple strand swatches, maybe try on damp hair? Not sure because I've only ever applied on dry hair with semi perm hair dye. You need more product than you'd think so order in excess. An amazing dye and the first time Ive tried Adore hair color and Im very happy with the product. Im not a fan of electric lime on me as a color but that is user error. I will order sweet mint and try that color. I hope it is as good as this dye formula. Note*** The product sucks into your hair quickly so when saturated it will not feel super wet and creamy like arctic fox, it processes very hair so its unnecessary to leave on for a long time. IT DOESN'T DAMAGE AT ALL IT DOESNT MOISTURIZE LIKE OTHER SEMI PERM DYES BUT IT LEAVES HAIR IN SAME CONDITION AS PRE DYEING. i would give 4 stars on color because I don't like it but that's personal taste so 5 stars it is! Also I'm in high school so experienced level needed is like 2

I love this color so much!

If you want really bright color, I super suggest that you bleach your hair to a light blond before dying. Wella Blondor bleach works great and it doesn't damage your hair as much as boxed bleach will. I bought the Indigo Blue, the raspberry color and lime green and they all came out fantastic. Also, the smell of the dye smells kind of fruity almost but no chemical-y smell at all. I let it sit for about 35-45 minutes while it was wrapped up in a plastic bag, rinsed with slightly cold water and dried my hair and it looks great, bright and colorful. The lime green is very bright, like literal lime green, and the raspberry turned out almost hot pink but slightly darker. The blue just turned out like a normal blue would. But yeah, the shipment was fast, colors are great and easy to apply, doesn't damage hair and even made my hair feel SUPER soft even though I bleached it beforehand. Five stars.

Comes out a really nice shade on different levels of blonde and lasts about a month with frequent wash on both locs and straight hair. It also doesn't change color when swimming. I highly recommend

Good product

The electric lime is bright! Neon bright! And the royal purple is exactly like the picture, but fades to a dark blue quickly. I love both, it's easy to use and if you're like me and constantly change colors, it's good for you-- comes out within two weeks. Also, if the dye is on your hair for 10 seconds or more, it will dye your hair. Strong. My only critique is that it's very watery! Smells fine, not chemical-y. I will caution: if you're new at hair dye, don't use this dye! It's easy to give yourself zebra stripes due to the consistency of the dye. For beginners or those who want a bright semi-permanent that lasts a little longer and is better quality, I would check out Ion Color Brilliance (their Brights line).

I ordered the 2 pack of electric lime, and I definitely recommend it! The consistency of the dye was perfect. Gloppy enough to stay on the brush but thin enough to saturate thicker sections, allowing me to work faster. The effectiveness was great! My hair had been pre-lightened and previously dyed pink and orange although mostly those colors had faded. I hadn't washed my hair for 4 days so the dye might have stained better if I had washed it maybe only 24-48 hours prior instead. I had also used conditioner in that wash which probably shielded my hair too. It did come out a little less deep than I was hoping for, but I do have a second bottle left! I left it on for an hour which was probably too long because my hair came out a bit split-endy after rinsing the dye out. The scent is really pleasant! Maybe like Apple Pucker but not sour. Very pleasant! While the bottles are on the small side, the price for 2 was $9-10, which I felt was a good deal for what you get! Some other brands may be trendy and have flashy branding, but the results are more important IMO and Adore gets it done. Def recommend.

I have naturally black hair that I lightened twice. Didn't tone my hair at all and used the green because I wanted it to be a mixture of a mossy color with the brassiness and bold acid green. Got a great result with this dye. Little to no staining, can easily come off with hot water and/or acetone. The dye itself is more of a gel consistency almost similar to that of gel food coloring. Smells great and didn't make me feel sick and was super easy to use.

This stuff is amazing! I treat it like every other semi, I put it on my hair and let it sit under plastic for a few hours. I get great results. So if anyone is worried about following their directions, I'm sure it makes the product look even better, but you can do it the regular way as well. Just know it may fade faster. This has been my new go-to and I've worked in beauty supply and have tried every green available.

Amazing. Love this product. My daughter went to a professional hair stylist to get her hair done. Within a month her neon green highlights where turning blue. This dye covered up the blue and gave her the color she was looking for.Electric lime. One bottle did her whole head. Above the shoulder thick hair. Would buy two bottles for longer hair.Will definitely buy again. Can't wait to try different colors.

It's a great color but it fades out so freaking quickly in comparison to other semi-permanent shampoos that last usually 2 to 3 weeks on my hair! It smells good, the application is easy, and getting it to set in your hair according to directions is easy as well. With my type of hair I don't have wash day everyday, and yet somehow it faded out in less than a week. It also can fade out if you use hair oils, or curl creams a lot as well. If your dry shampoo has a lot of perfuming agents as well, it can cause fading too. I usually don't have this issue even with semi-permanent hair dyes... When my first application faded out, I reapplied and went a week and a half without products before I had to reapply. I did follow the instructions to the letter, before anybody questions me. It really just doesn't hold up in comparison to other semi-permanents I've tried. Punky Color and Manic Panic just have them beat out when it comes to semi-permanent.
