PediFix Heel Hugs

I placed these heel cushions in a new pair of shoes to help keep my heel from slipping out. I walked across the room to test how the heel cushions felt, and one of them fell apart! When I took my foot out of the shoe, pieces of the heel cushion had crumbled off. These are made of an odd material — it feels like cheap foam, not a fabric cushion like similar products I’ve tried. I’ll be purchasing a different brand.

These heel hugs are much thicker than I expected, and take up too much room in most of my shoes. I needed heel hugs that prevent my heels from slipping out of my shoes, and these do not do that. They work in a couple pairs of flats that I own, but I wouldn't buy them again for any high heels.

Worked well to help a pair of my wife's shoes fit better.

I have narrow heels and this product works well to help solve that. However, the foam material doesn't hold up well and they must be replaced after several wearings. Brand new, I'd give it five stars; after some wear, maybe 2.5. But it works better than anything else I've tried for narrow heels, and I've tried everything, it seems. Just plan to replace them regularly.

I hate to give a bad review, but these didn't work as well as other heel-hugs I have used in the past. I didn't like that once they were in the shoe you could not easily reposition them, so make sure you get them in right the first time. Also my socks keep catching on them at the heel, so I feel them every step I take. Not happy with this purchase.

I bought these for a new pair of Eastland "dirty buck" oxfords that were rubbing on my Achilles tendon. When attempting to remove the backing from the pads in order to install them, first sections of the adhesive came off--stuck to my thumb--and then whole sections of the foam itself tore off from the pad, rendering them completely unusable.

Just exactly what I needed. My foot is a medium width with a AA heel. With these in place I don't walk out of my shoes.
