Excelentes libros para estudiar el idioma. Con muchas imágenes, y muy práctico. Vale la pena el set completo. El audio se baja directamente desde la página de la editorial, de forma gratuita.

This is my fifth language to learn. In a short time the Chinese language (read, write and speak) is finally less of a mystery to me. This is not a self learning book so don't expect it to be. This book is required at my college for learning Chinese. If you can self teach yourself, cudos to you, however without the proper guidance this book is only going to a head butting challenge. Users of the print edition have access to audio by following the simple directions in the Preface. You will need the audio to get the tones correct. Learning other languages is having better communication skills and makes you a more valuable person.

I had to get this textbook for a class but for the high price tag you'd think it could include an answer key or that it would come in a cover that isn't going to destroy itself in my bag on the way to uni. If you're getting this for a class it works fine, otherwise it is completely unusable.

Used this for a college course. Dropped out after 3 weeks. Was a waste of time compared to my Pimsleur subscription. I easily crush the students wasting their time with these outdated materials

My teacher exposed me to this book as in use at UVA where she teaches Chinese. It is my go to for the lessons. I am at about HSK level 2++. But I am also using apps (Mostly Chinese Guru). And two hours of lessons every week.
