This IS an Affordable Electric Kick Scooter w/Good Mileage
Update 6/01/21: I found the readings on the control panel are not accurate. It's not a problem, but takes getting accustomed to it. Switching the mode from KMH to MPH the odometer and speedometer do not match MPH or mileage. I go to a friend's house which is an exact distance of 6.5 miles and the odometer will read 10 miles traveled. That would be 10 kilometers, not miles. The MPH is not correct either. At the speed setting 3 with top speed of 16 MPH displayed on the control panel the scooter is really doing only a bit over 10 MPH. That too would be KMH. So the speedometer is not transferring to the proper MPH conversion when the P2 mode is switched from KMH to MPH even though the odometer shows MPH mode. I will be changing the setting back to KMH and will do more testing to see how how accurate that setting is and will update soon.Update 5/26/2021: Changing my review again! At first I was having short mileage issues but that has since resolved. Not sure why a few rides yielded low mileage, but for the past 200 miles (yes I have about 250 miles on it already) The scooter has been performing very well. I have been averaging about 30 to 35 miles to the last green bar and have yet to get the charge down in the red. Awesome scooter! The JOYER X5S has it all for an electric kick scooter priced under $600. It did not disappoint! The JOYOR X5S is a smooth ride on air filled tires, front shock and long mileage. The rear wheel drive I like and so far I’ve gone a distance of 17 miles on half of the battery! I weigh 220lbs so I find that mileage very reasonable. My only big complaint is there isn’t a user adjustment to remove speed restriction and many reviews say this JOYOR X5S can go reach a higher speed. I ride on the beach in Florida and 15MPH is ok for hard biking trails but on the beach it seems too slow.I’ve tried several other 350W scooters where the maximum range was 5 miles or less and ride was extremely bumpy on hard tires. Time will tell how this scooter holds up and I will update this review at a later time. There are many pros and only a few cons which I’ll list:Pros:• Long distance• Exceptionally smooth ride• Easy to fold• Wires are protected in wire loom• Fairly easy to see LCD screen• Adjustable height handlebars• Cruise control• Great breaking• Electric hornCons:• Tires could be wider for gravel, hard sand trails and beaches• Lack of ability to remove speed restrictor• Headlight not good for night ridingThe JOYOR X5S also comes with extras like a carry bag and several other accessories. Bottom line is if you want a great electric kick scooter this is it!

Inferior Quality
I bought two of these scooters so far, the first one which I waited two weeks for came and the display was broken, their were hairs all over it. Gross man!! The biggest problem I had was that I paid for an s10 2000watt scooter. I got an s5 800 watt scooter. Basically not only is it broken with human hairs in the joints and wheels but it's the wrong scooter. It's the cheaper one that I waited 2 weeks for.I left a review with my one star because I was not having it! They really tried like 3 times to make me change my review! They got access to my email. I read that their not supposed to email consumers to change reviews. The second time I decided that maybe I just had a stroke of bad luck and I shouldn't worry too much about my past experiences. I bought another one, arrived a little faster. Checked the outside of the box to see it it was the correct model. Great s10s just the right model. Now I know from the Amazon listing that it's a dual 1000watt motor 60v battery and has solid tires. I was thinking that solid tires cause vibrations and can break even metal such as the rims and such. I do disapprove of them but their great for commuting to work and not worrying about flats. These don't have solid tires, I was a bit confused, conflicted.... I felt so cheated. It's not all bad though, just put the handle on and let's go for a ride....realized manual useless!! Watched some random guyes 1 hour video online and still felt lost. Got it done after awhile. Carried it outside, turned on the power and hit the trigger. Nothing happened... Changes the gears.... Hit trigger. ..... Still nothing. Btw the trigger cable was loose when I assemble it. I'm assuming it comes disconnected.Well I tried to kick off to see if it would start. Went into settings to change p9 to 0000 which I think should make it go without a push. I turned on the headlights, not one light is on. I giggled the cable and got it to go. It was fast which felt great but when I stopped and looked at the meter which read 99 mph I knew I got a defective model. Then it was back to it's original state, trigger don't work, it's always 00 mph even when you move it, it flashes a brief e-06 and I'm now scared it might start a fire because I don't know much about scooters. Support isn't helpful, the take so long to respond. Dealing with them any longer might take days to weeks which I don't want to deal with. It's been a few days already and I'm getting tired of their support. Their website, their phone numbers and their suspicious emails aren't reliable. The number isn't in service.I'm just sad and disappointed now, I really wanted something fast reliable and a great consumer service experience. Scooters break all the time, having a good customer service is a must. Sadly Im going to return it if they don't offer me a replacement or something. Also I don't like when I'm emailed to delete my review.
