Switched to rechargeables and that fixed it for us.Adhesive backing is good—but if one comes loose over time, a small dot of mounting putty or 3M strips takes care of it.

I put 4 of them on the stair and another 2 in my closet. Every time I walk by, it turn on very fast, like no delay. I feel very safe now when go to bathroom in night. The light is small and not heavy, easy to stick anywhere. I didn’t use any tools, just the sticky pad. Light is warm color and soft, not hurt my eye. One thing I like is the build – not feel cheap plastic, it’s solid and look nice.

Just out of the package, my impression is pretty positive. Motion sensor works great, bright but not too bright, easy to mount. The battery compartment cover comes off a little too easily, but a small strip of scotch tape stops that issue. It kinda sucks they each take 3 AAA batteries each, but it's not the end of the world and expected since I was looking for something cordless. I have these strategically mounted around my house near the floorboards in the event someone gets up at night and needs the bathroom or a glass of water. Makes it easy and safe to quickly traverse the house in the dark, especially for anyone who's a fall risk like the elderly. Love these so far and very happy with my purchase

This sensor stair light is so convenient. I have it install in my hallway and stairs. Installation is fast and easy. It is fairly small in size but it lights up the hallway and stairs bright enough. Great material. Modern looking. Doesn’t stick out much.

I like these lights to help illuminate the steps and hallway, they function well. However, they are battery operated and battery life is very short so I keep having to replace the batteries. Each light has a sticker that sticks the light to the wall but it won’t stick to my wallpaper, only the wood parts of the stairs and the plate it is attached to doesn’t always stay connected. Motion detection is good and only stays on for about 20 seconds, just enough time to get settled in bed. Would recommend if you don’t mind changing batteries frequently.
