Dorman 800-413HP Metal Heater Hose Connector Compatible with Select Cadillac/Chevrolet/GMC Models (OE FIX)

Started to notice a bit of coolant leak only to find out it was the heater hose T connector. Very common on these vehicles because of their factory plastic T connectors, they start to crack and even break off. That’s where dorman comes in with these metal ones! Sure plastic ones are much cheaper but why set yourself up for future failure again? Installation can be a bit annoying but once the old connector is off, this one goes in easily and fits perfectly!

Machining and material quality were better than expected. Edges were clean with no burrs, and the dimensions were consistent — everything lined up without needing to force or modify anything. The material feels like proper spec, not soft alloy, and it handled torque without deforming. Installed smoothly and performed exactly as intended under real load. Solid, reliable part if you’re doing actual mechanical work

I love that this is metal vs. the plastic factory ones. Fits like OEM. Let’s just hope the quality of the o-ring is good and lasts a while. Only time will tell. For now, this is working great with no leaks.

High quality connector to replace the original plastic one on a 2001 Suburban.

Both Amazon and Dorman say this part is only for the 2007-2014 Escalade, but I couldn't find any visual differences so I ordered a set. It looks identical and fits the same as the OEM plastic fitting on a 2016 Escalade. Installation tip: lube the O-rings in the fittings (or at least the ends of the tubes you're installing into the fittings), then install these fittings onto the vertical hard lines for the rear heater first, before clicking them onto the front heater core fittings on the firewall. Heater hoses to the engine go on last.

Utilized this to upgrade my truck's cheap plastic heater hose connections. Very solid and reliable. No more worries of coolant leaking out at cheap oem failure points. Very easy to install and highly recommended.

Worked perfectly, a bit of an annoyance to install but it fits perfectly and is well worth the money over the plastic ones. Sealed up nice and tight, and is peace of mind going down the road.

Works on a 2015 Tahoe. You can use two of these or the 800-414hp for the other line but all inlets and outlets on the fitting are the same between the 413 and 413 it’s just the body is a slightly different shape. You will also need two 800-403hp fittings to connect the 5/8 tube to 5/8 hoses.
