Great dog food
Sojos food is very good! Once rehydrated you can see there's so much meat in this. We let this soak overnight before feeding this though. The recommended time is 15 minutes. An overnight soak thoroughly rehydrates everything with some mixing. The veggies and meat really puff up. Between our 3 dogs this whole bag lasts the month( 2 small 15lb, 1 big 90lb). For the price it's very reasonable. You get everything with the mix both vegetable and meat. The only con about this mix is the cranberries. Our small dog will not eat the cranberries and will spit them out.

Best Raw Food diet = price & convenience
Like all the Sojos flavors, haven’t tried the one without meat. Great consistency, some of the dehydrated foods are running or just mashed potatoes consistency. Sojos is like a good stew. Been feeding Sojos for years to my 80 pound Alapaha BlueBlood Bulldog. He switched to a raw diet for health and to keep his weight down and prevent wear on his joints(Big dog problems). Right now I’m feeding the Salmon and Turkey. My vet approves highly of the Sojos, and always loves she can feel his ribs but he’s still a buff beefy dog. When it comes to raw feeding Sojos is such a great cost effective and easy to use option. Love the ingredient variety, and flavor options -will change it up now and then ordering different flavors for him. What I like about it is for the cost you get up to 10 pounds! Easy to store since it’s just dehydrated, so it doesn’t go bad you just add water to the amount you need. I like to make it a bit thick. You can make it everytime you feed, or make a few (it keeps a few days in fridge) servings in advance to allow to hydrate it well and keep in the fridge which I do. Warm water works well if making it for each meal. I had a friend almost eat some once because he thought it was leftovers! You can even cook it. My guy loves it as does my gf’s little dog. I usually feed my guy 2-3 large spoonfuls during his meal and add with other fresh or frozen raw food. Maybe a dab of yogurt, goats milk or other additions. Followed by a beef rib, frozen salmon head, or chicken drumstick outside. But I know people who just feed Sojos and a sprinkle of quality dry food. Occasionally a sprinkle of Orijen or Acana dry food on top of the Sojos for my guy. Adding a bit of Avocado or fish oil to Sojos is great too. Lots of great veggies hidden in the Sojos that would be in a small game animals stomachs, but he wouldn’t eat on their own. Have suggested Sojo to many owners who adopted it. One neighbor started feeding his pugs, all who are fat because well... Pugs. He switched to Sojos and other raw treats/food. A few months later these skinny little pugs approached. Ever seen a skinny pug? It’s weird! They dropped the weight, were super healthy and happy. Sojos makes raw feeding Healthy and raw easy and cost effective. When you make the change to Sojos some dogs love it and some don’t welcome it at first. It can be a bit new for them. I’ve seen and heard both. If the latter, as you should with any food change start small adding with your dogs existing food and even mixing some quality healthy oils, or broth etc gets them used to it. Warming it up or cooking it a bit also helps to get them used to it at first. Hope this helps!

Always honest reviews
I have tried Sojo’s brand of food several times because I love the ingredients and ease of preparation. The reason I gave it only 3 Stars is because of the same problem that I have had in the past, quality control, reliability and price. I will get one bag with a good combination of chunks and crumbs. The next bag will be almost all crumbs which when prepared as instructed looks like mush! Also, even though I usually buy the same flavor, for some reason I will get a bag and the dogs won’t touch it. If I had just one dog, I’d say he’s being finicky, when none of them will eat it even after several daily attempts, something is wrong. At about $100 a bag, I would expect same consistency in the food, this is not the case and I am finally giving up on purchasing it again. I wish this was not the case because as I said before, great ingredients and easy prep for a “raw” food.

Our dog likes it
Our dog gets GI problems with other foods including some air dried foods. This doesn't bother his stomach.

Dog loves it!
I started with Bravo freeze-dried dog food and decided to try SOJO's since it has a senior recipe. My 11 yr old ShiPoo Izzy loves it. She has a disc disease and will eventually not be able to walk. But I do think that since she has been eating the senior food, she has more energy and stills wants to play even if her legs are not working well.I have 2 problems with the food. 1. I don't care for the smell, kind of fishy, which at least I know that there is fish in it. the second is my dog's problem. She does not like the cranberries unless we cut them smaller. So if you can believe this, we emptied the bag and looked for all the cranberries, and then ground them up. The things we do for our babies. LOLI would recommend this product. Remember to let it set and it grows in the bowl. I have learned to scoop out less and let it sit for 15 minutes. If it gets too thick just add a little water before serving.

Nutrition & NO INGREDIENTS FROM CHINA!!
This is a VERY well made dog food. Yes it’s a little over $100/month for two dogs (Pug & Min pin). BUT…. My dogs love it! They wouldn’t eat Blue Buffalo anymore? Then I tried making their food with ingredients recommended for dogs, but they wouldn’t eat it either after a week. This food is raw food, which plumps up with warm water after it sits a bit. NO INGREDIENTS FROM CHINA!!!

Great Formula!
I have been feeding sojo to my dogs since they were puppies. Now all are gone but one (I used to have 4 Lhasas) and we recently switched my husband's Golden's food to Sojo as well. Both dogs are seniors, my Lhasa is 14 and the Golden is 12.This is the first time we are trying the new senior formula and it's an instant hit! I have been giving them either Turkey recipe or adding cooked chicken to original sojo recipe which has been fine but recently my dog, lhasa, hasn't been too excited about his meals. Since the change, he has been cleaning his bowl clean and shiny, and so is the Golden. The food needs a longer soaking time than what it says on the bag. What I do is I soak them in warm water and let it sit on the counter for a couple of hours and finish soaking in the refrigerator over night. It becomes nice thick meal by breakfast time. None of my dog had any major health issues, and all died of old age. (16,17) I believe giving them good quality food played a big role. My husband's golden had a series of GI problems, allergies, skin problems, and other issues but since the food change, her health is noticeably improving. I highly recommend this food! It may seem like a lot up front but you do end up spending a lot less in vet bill.
