Caught a mouse - seems to work. :)
Great little trap for the price of it. Suspected we had some mice in the shed. Popped it in a few days back and kept an eye on it, this morning I found a little tiny field mouse inside. Simple mechanism but seems to work well.Edit: Another night, another mouse. Definitely seems to work. :)

I agree...they are worse than useless!
I had good intentions of catching a mouse or mice that had eaten a Christmas present intended for grand-daughter and depositing it/them a long way from home but still alive! Daft! These so-called 'traps' are absolutely useless. On one occasion the bait disappeared but the trap wasn't closed, and an another the trap was shut but the bait had gone! Only one of the two worked properly and they were just a waste of postage! I gave up and set a conventional trap and immediately caught the culprit. Very dead, but at least I'd got him!Other humane traps may well work, but these particular ones, which trigger the door by the trap tipping under the weight of the mouse when it enters are a waste of time. In one that came the plastic was moulded so badly that the door didn't work properly.

given the right circumstances - ie a mouse being present instead of something bigger - the device may actually have worked fine.
I don't know whether to just laugh at what happened when we got this product... I'm guessing we had a rat instead of a mouse, because both of the traps had disappeared when we looked for them the following day.I've given this 3 stars instead of 2 because, given the right circumstances - ie a mouse being present instead of something bigger - the device may actually have worked fine.Oh, well, looks like we have happy rats - they now have something to play with. Good luck in overcoming that design problem, guys!

Simple To Use and Humane
We have a cat who likes to bring mice into the house to play with, without killing them. These traps are ideal for catching the mice so that we can give them back their freedom. We put a few digestive biscuits crumbs in as bait.

OK
A bit of a strange design and feels a little flimsy. However, it claims to hold up to 30 mice which sounds a bit far fetched. Easy to set up.

Two Stars
I caught a mouse but it chewed it's way out! The plastic is not thick enough.

Instant results.
Put it down at night with a few bits of dry dog food in it. Came down in the morning to find three visitors in it. They took a bit of getting out as they were obviously frightened. I left the box open for a while away from the house and they all disappeared though.

Smile please!
Caught two first night in use. Easy to bait and well built. Simple to see when occupied.Only tricky bit is getting them back out as mine hid in entrance tubes; obviously feeling guilty...
