Great tool for trimming branches out of reach.
First off, it feels like light and thin plastic, where I usually associate heft and density with a good name brand tool like Milwaukee, but for a once in a while tool it's fine, especially when climbing in a tree where a lighter tool is better anyway. One thing I think this should have is an oiler, even if it was the manual bulb style. Instead you need to put a few drops around the chain every once an a while to prevent excessive wear. There was a spare chain included, but even with a few hours of cutting I didn't need to replace the initial one.I used this to take down a clump of 4 trees recently and it worked quite well. The trees were leaning over my garage and neighbor's fence so I couldn't cut it down in one shot, so I climbed the tree (safely with a harness) and cut limbs off one at a time. I felt more comfortable using this on the pole to cut some limbs farther out, but fully extended it can be heavy to hold onto for the farthest horizontal reaches with the all the weight so far out. (Not specific to this saw, just a note.) Holding vertically is much easier to balance, which is probably how most people will use this from the ground. Once I got down to the main trunks I needed to switch to a larger saw, but this 6" saw can cut a 10" limb by going at it from multiple sides. (Just plan your cuts to avoid pinching the blade.)The safety button is no issue for right handed use, but awkward for left handed use (like when cutting the other sides of a >6" limb). There is a safety catch you should use when you attach the saw to the pole (see image). When I cut extended horizontally on the pole it would start to swing down at the end of the cut but the hand guard easily protected the trigger switch from hitting other branches. If you have a lot of cutting to do the one battery may be a limitation, but I just used that as a time to use my older 6" saw (without a pole) while this charged. For most routine trimming the battery will probably last long enough. Steelite also sells spare/replacement batteries in different sizes, unlike some other lesser known brands where you can't even buy replacement batteries.Overall, I like this and I would buy it again. Since Steelite sells some other yard equipment and replacement batteries I like that I could share batteries between them. It's not Ridgid, Milwaukee, or Makita, but for the price it does the job quite well.

Did a great job on overhanging branches
I have a neighbor that doesn't take care of his trees and most have grown over into my yard. These are what I call dirty trees and are constantly dropping their 5" long spiky needles and cones into my yard. In some areas it's bad enough to kill my grass. I got this hoping it would be easy for me to use on the branches I couldn't reach while standing on the ground. At first I tested it on some scrap wood and it did great. Hooking the pole to the saw and the battery was easy. They both click solidly to the pole. Extending the pole was easy by just flipping those two toggles. The branch I was aiming for was about 12' off the ground and about 1 inch thick. It was easy to cut through it. I cut through several small branches too. So glad I no longer have to use those large gardening shears. This is so much easier.

Works Great & as Described.
The weather outside is still really cold, but it finally warmed up enough in the daytime to give this a try outside. It works great for small tasks like trimming and shaping some woody shrubs. It also works well when used on larger things like tree limbs that were getting a bit unruly. I can't wait to be able to spend more time outside with this. It's a great tool for yardwork and between our home and my parents' home, we'll definitely get plenty of use out of this! I didn't get a chance to try cutting a 2x4 with it, but I'm sure we'll get to try that out with future projects as we find time for them.Overall our household is really happy with this tool and I feel comfortable recommending it to others.

Ample Power to Cut Most Limbs
I really like that this pole saw is cordless and has amble power to cut most limbs. It is light weight, easy to use and cuts well enough.

Brushless electric pole saw is pretty good
Some really long length and brevity when tried to get those over the head trails. I found that the starting point is the strongest point, so that has to work best. In this one's that is really efficient. The cutting edge is also a favorite of mine, if it cuts right then it is perfect. Perfect, this one cuts better than some others I have tried out. Put a man hand to work, and the day just goes flying by.
