How should I cut and handle the mesh?

The wire mesh can be cut with tin snips or heavy-duty scissors. Wear protective gloves because both the original edges and cut edges can be sharp.

Will it keep rodents and bugs out of vents or small holes?

The 1 mm aperture can help block many common pests and larger debris while still allowing airflow. It is a material sheet, so performance also depends on how tightly it is cut, fitted and secured.

Does this mesh come with mounting hardware or a frame?

No. The package includes stainless steel wire mesh sheets only. Frames, screws, adhesive, trim, gloves and cutting tools are not included.

Can it be used outdoors or near heat?

It is 304 stainless steel for common indoor and outdoor DIY use. It also features high-temperature resistance (up to 800°C).

Can I use it to replace a whole window screen or screen door?

It can be used for small local screen repairs or fixed openings, but it is not a full window screen or screen door kit. Measure your project and choose a proper frame or fastening method before installation.
