Build quality feels premium for the price, with a sturdy metal-resin shell and a comfortable ergonomic fit for extended listening sessions. Sound separation and imaging are excellent, making the Castor Pro a solid choice not only for music but also for gaming and multimedia consumption. On the downside, the default tuning may feel slightly bright for some listeners, and achieving the best sound often requires experimenting with the tuning switches. 🎧 KZ Castor Pro Review (Compared with Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro) I had been using the Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro since February 2024 and absolutely loved their sound. Unfortunately, I lost them a couple of months ago. Since they’re currently unavailable in India and the Oppo Enco Air 4 Pro are still far from release in India, I started looking for alternatives — that’s when I came across the KZ Castor Pro. Honestly, I doubted that any IEM under ₹2,000 could come close to the Enco Air 3 Pro, which costs more than double. Still, curiosity won, and I ordered them. Out of the box, they didn’t sound very open or spacious — just like any regular earphone at this price when tested on my laptop. So, I decided to pair them with a DAC (Audiocular Spark), used Wavelet with DDUU DDUU tuning switches and a U-shaped EQ, set Dolby Atmos to Movie mode, and enabled Hi-Res Lossless on Apple Music. That’s when the magic happened. The soundstage opened up, the instruments came alive, and suddenly they started outperforming my Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro. The highs are detailed and sparkly yet smooth — never harsh, sibilant, or shouty. They carry just the right amount of brilliance, giving instruments that lively shimmer without fatigue. The mids are pristine, especially the guitar strumming — it sounds crisp and clean. Vocals have an airy, reverberant character that makes them feel spacious and natural. Instrument separation is excellent — you can easily identify sounds coming from different directions and depths. The bass is tight, punchy, and rich, with good sub-bass rumble and satisfying kickdrums. However, despite being labeled the “Improved Bass” version, the Castor Pro isn’t for bassheads. If you prefer that boomy, club-style bass found in TWS from brands like OnePlus or Realme, this might feel a bit restrained. The bass here focuses more on detail than quantity. The soundstage is similar in width to the Enco Air 3 Pro — moderately wide but with slightly more airiness and openness. Imaging is excellent too; you can easily pinpoint footsteps while gaming. The mic quality performs very well indoors, better than most TWS under ₹5,000. It lacks noise reduction, though, so outdoor performance may not be ideal. I’m giving them ⭐ 4 out of 5 stars, mainly because of the cable quality, which feels cheap (though it gets the job done), and the included eartips didn’t fit my ears properly. I’m currently using Sennheiser CX TWS eartips, which improved both fit and sound. Overall, if you’re looking for a replacement for the Oppo Enco Air 3 Pro, the KZ Castor Pro delivers even better sound quality at a lower price, especially when paired with a DAC and proper tuning.

I have wore like every headphones and headsets but the quality this iems delivered is impressive Like also I had a problem that no headphones usually not fit me well but I use small ear bud on left and medium on right impressive iems. Best for music, Gaming and perfect fit and comfortable. The base is impressive too

worth the audio quality but these are fragile, use them carefully, works as advertised, good service centre experience, if you live near a creek or area with high moisture or salt in air then the wire is prone to oxidation, there is no warranty on that.

Been using this product for a month now there are no issues with the product. If your mobile device don't have 3.5 mm jack you can use c type adapter from Basesailor gives good output It fits the ears perfectly but if you are heavy user this can cause you pain in earlobe after 3 hours as the earplugs are heavier. The wire quality is good has mic but no volume buttons These iem have Equalizer on the earplugs it self you can adjust according to your preferences It provides crystal clear sound quality with great mids and bass and vocals are also good It justifies it's price

I cannot recommend these IEMs. While they might look great on paper, serious design flaws and severe ground leakage make them uncomfortable and frustrating to use. Major Issues Electrical Leakage / Shock Hazard: If plugged directly into a laptop (especially while charging), the metal shell conducts ungrounded electrical current straight into your ears. You will feel an uncomfortable static buzz and tingling sensation on your skin. Hardware Failure / Not Working: Beyond the grounding issues, the unit suffers from poor reliability and connectivity failures, failing to deliver consistent audio out of the box. Poor Isolation & Quality Control: Basic design flaws mean you have to deal with workarounds just to use the product safely. Who Should Skip This? Anyone looking to plug directly into a laptop, PC, or desktop setup. Anyone looking for a reliable, plug-and-play audio experience without electrical hums or device failures. Look for IEMs with resin or non-conductive plastic shells from reliable brands instead. Skip this model entirely.
