Perfect for my car. The current up hold is low to floor. This device meant the cups became higher up and my wife and I both had somewhere to store a cup.

Looks decent holds cans and similar sized drinks well, but any 500ml bottles tend to fall out when going round sharper bends.

Fits perfect on My25 Scenic E Tech - no rattle or movement.

I got this when we had a Citroën Cactus because the built-in cup holder in that car wasn’t great. Drinks were always awkward to place and it never felt very practical, so this expander ended up being a big improvement. It twists to expand in the original cup holder, which helps it sit securely once you get it tightened properly. After that it stayed in place well and gave us space for two drinks instead of one, which made a noticeable difference on longer drives. It works best with standard cans or wider bottles. Some taller or slimmer bottles can feel a bit less secure, but for everyday drinks it did the job well enough. We’ve since switched to an electric car that actually has decent cup holders built in, so we no longer need it. When we were using the Cactus though, this was a really useful little upgrade that solved an annoying design flaw.

Terrible quality very cheaply make, very cheap looking and just nasty really.

I bought this for my 2016 VW Polo as there were constant fights between my daughters over the single cupholder in the back. Initially I was a bit worried about the fit as it started off a bit loose but in order to get a tighter fit, all you have to do is twist it to expand the base; nice and easy! Once locked in, the fit is surprisingly snug and it doesn't wobble around while driving. In terms of build quality, it's not the most sturdy thing in the world, anything relatively thin like 500ml bottles of juice will likely fall out but for your average kids water bottle (or even a drink from McDonalds!) holds firm so I'm happy with that. Overall, I'm very happy with this. I'd have preferred an all black design as I do find the faux chrome and carbon fibre a bit tacky but overall it's still good.
