The best
These clips are sturdy, hold a lot or a little hair and are just the right length. I have naturally curly hair that I need to clip up at night (then wrap or cap) and found that salon clips -or duckbill or alligator or shark clips - are the way to go so that my curls don't get mangled when I remove the clips in the morning. My smaller size head won't comfortably accommodate clips over 4" and allow for sleep. These are just about 4", maybe just a smidge less. They are slightly curved, which is ideal for those of us who don't have square or trapezoidal head shapes, and the end with the spring is mostly low profile. I do love the look of the salon/duckbill/alligator clips that look like giant gold talons and those are great for the day, but for sleepy time, less is more. (BTW, the small ones are perfect for keeping renegade curls from getting in your face during the day. Love them.)For just holding hair, these are the best. They are solid metal, so unlike the literal dozens of other clips I've tried, they don't snap or bend or warp. The teeth are only on the top so when you squeeze the clip open, you can pull it out smoothly without it catching on you hair. Because of how they're built, they can hold a large section of very foofy hair or clip up a smaller, thinner sections - like clipping up areas for root lift if you"re letting your hair air dry. But for that I'm planning on buying the regular clips from this brand for that because these babies are my go-to for the big fluffy sections. For those of you wondering if four clips is worth it: it is. There are other salon brands with the same design and construct that are much more expensive, although they come in different colors. But I wear these to sleep, I could care less about the colors. What makes it more than worth the price, for me, is that these are solid, durable clips. What's the point of getting a pack of twelve clips of a different color, material and design if they keep breaking and you need more of them at a time because they don't hold much hair? I've never had to use all four at a time. Previously, I was using five or more clips of the same length because I had to clip thin sections or hair would slip out of the end. The casualty rate averaged three clips a week. Some breaking as I was opening it to slip it into my hair. Our cat no longer hangs out in the bathroom when I get ready for bed.Long story long: I love these. They seem indestructible but if they get run over with a car, lost in a move, eaten by a dinosaur or melted by a fire, I will buy them again. I plan on buying them for my family and friends with natural hair. They are well made, save me money and are safer for everyone within a 10' radius of my head.

Excellent product and high value for money.
I've started cutting my own hair at home since the pandemic began back in 2020.A recurrent challenge is keeping the hair from the top of my head that is close to the sides away from the clippers, to avoid accidental over trimming on both sides.I've used other clips before, to no success - my hair is not thick and long enough, so it would always end up loose from the clips just a couple minutes after clipping them in place. Just the constant movement of the clippers in the area would be enough to dislodge my hair from the typical cheap plastic clip that usually comes free with the clipper set.I finally decided that it was time to spend a few bucks to get something else other than the cheap, free clips. These Framar Bite Clips are no joke! They are sturdy, strong and literally "bite" your hair like a mean beast.Once clipped, hair stays in whatever position/form you have arranged no matter how much movement and clipper action in the vicinity. These Bite Clips are clearly high quality and well made, and will certainly last for longer than I'll ever have hair in my head that requires cutting. Highly recommend.
