Very utilitarian.

I'm new to properly caring for my leather shoes, so I picked up this 3-piece brush set to accompany some conditioner. So far, they've been great. Each brush has different bristle firmness—from a stiff one for scrubbing to softer ones for applying product and buffing. It’s a small detail, but the variation really makes a difference depending on the task.The handles are smooth and fit nicely in my smaller hands, which I really appreciate. That said, the short edges of the wood feel a little rough, like they were just sanded and left unfinished. It's not a big deal, but I do expect those parts to absorb oil or polish over time.I've used the brushes a few times now with a leather conditioner, and the bristles are holding up well. One or two loose hairs came out during the first use, but nothing after that. There are no weird smells out of the box, either, which is a plus. All in all, it's a solid set, especially for someone starting out in leather care.

Good set. Boar brush is great all around for full grain leather boots and basic cleaning.

I cleaned 17 pairs of shoes in one day with these brushes. My shoes came out looking brand new. I give them five stars because it held up for 17 pairs, but I do have to buy another set of brushes to finish cleaning the rest of my shoes.

These are fairly small brushes, about the size of a harmonica. They’re definitely not the smallest, but they’re about 1/4 of the size of the large brushes which means you may have to work a lithe bit harder to achieve the same results. If you only need them for shoes and purses versus saddles and boots, they’ll be fine. If you have limited storage, like me, they’re perfect because they easily tuck into a drawer.The 3 brushes offer nice variety for cleaning and polishing, the bristles are a good quality, they are well crafted, lightweight, and easy to hold, and most importantly, they get the job done.
