DYNAMODE WL-700N-RXS 11n Wifi Nano Adapter 150m

***updated September 2013****Recently tried this in my raspberry pi again with openelec xbmc distro and it worked perfectly, from a room a fair distance from my router going through 2 walls one of which is an outside double skinned brick wall it streamed 720p video flawlessly.Amazing.!!!!!leaving this old review here for reference!!!!!!I bought this to use with a Raspberry Pi running RaspBMC. Its amazingly small, only just sticking out of the USB socket.The positive is that it will work in the Pi without using an external powered USB hub which is the reason I bought it.The negative is that it will only connect fast enough to stream even lo-def video if its pretty much on top of the router. In the very next room its hopeless.Shame really, hanging onto it in case software improves or I find another use for it.

Recently updated my old laptop to ChromeOS Flex (very easy and quick) but there was a long-standing problem with the built-in WiFi. Just added this to USB and turned on and it worked first time everytime (whether the inbuilt WIFI is working or not). No additional software or setup to do. And all for a fiver. I am thrilled!

The size means it is well suited for leaving in a USB slot of an old laptop permanently, which is what I do. It seems to deal with weak signals reasonably well, and allows good transfer speeds when the signal is stronger. My only minor complaint is that the connection manager utility included does not have the best user interface. However you can use any utility you wish if it proves annoying. Once your regular networks are setup it's usually set and forget so not a major issue.

It didn't actually work. Not sure if it's product or what we were using it on. Drivers are on a CD-ROM unfortunately our laptop doesn't have a disk drive. No information on if we can download the drivers instead. Did try and see if we could but computer couldn't find them online. Have an older computer with a disk drive. When I have chance will try and see if I can get it set up on there and if I works I will update the rating.

Great, bought to use it on an old laptop reused as an OS Flex Chromebook. Worked no probs

Despite its tiny size, this little device found all the networks available and has stayed locked on to my selections (windows 10). In fact its tiny size is an advantage as it's less likely to get damaged if the laptop falls over. Would happily repurchase this item if the need arose.

Title says it all really, worked really well with a Windows PC. Apparently, Dynamode changed a chipset which is very hard to get working with raspberry Pi's - I tried a few online tutorials to get it working - with no avail.

Easy to install and doesnt even need the driver disk for Windows 10. Just be aware that the drivers disk is a small CD, so will need a laptop type drive for it to work. Wifi signal strength is good and hardly sticks out at all

Produit reconnu directement par mon ordinateur, je n'ai pas eu à installer de driver ( Windows10). Cette clé est minuscule si bien qu'elle est très discrète et que l'on peut. La vitesse est également au rendez-vous. J'enlève une étoile car la portée est moins bonne qu'avec le wifi intégré à mon ordinateur portable.

I'm using this on an old Mac Mini. I initially had a lot of problems getting and maintaining a connection, which seemed to have been rectified when I changed the router and reinstalled the software. I'm not sure which or if both fixes sorted the problem. Now it does the job well of supplying a considerably faster connection than the macs built in one. It's a budget product so I can't expect to much, especially for the small size, but I do get a respectable speed and reception from it. For the price and the fact it's so small, I think it's more than reasonable.

Malheureusement, les pilotes pour Linux sont impossible à trouver et ceux qui se trouvent sur le CD ne fonctionnent pas :-(

Nonostante da più parti sia scritto che questo adattatore dovrebbe lavorare "out of the box" con il raspberry pi non è affatto vero!Io ancora non ci sono riuscito! E cercando su internet non sono l'unico!Documentatevi bene prima di procedere all'acquisto
