Purchased December 19th, opened for Christmas, worked wonderful! As a glasses wearer these were super comfortable. Surprisingly on February 11, for no known reason, they stopped connecting. I troubleshooted on Dells website, updated both dongle and headset successfully, still didn’t work. Troubleshooted the reason for the colors (real flashing) and confirmed the issue- continuously trying to pair. But it’s connected. But searching. I’m outside my return dates. And now I’m stuck with an expensive paper weight or headband. It doesn’t work. Don’t lose your money.

1. USB cable is missing . 2. Definitely looks like used one. 3. Not worth the money . Hi-res not the worth . Sony is better.

Headset felt very comfortable while wearing them. I would say they are worth it at the sale price that I had bought at, but not quite worth it at regular price. The sound quality was ok, but not great. I definitely liked the style of the head set. They were packaged very well and even though I ordered the Bluetooth version, it also came with a detachable audio cord. The mic connects and disconnects as you pull the mic out and slide it back in, which I liked as well. I seen one person write that you will need to download the Alienware Control Panel to control the lighting, but luckily I own a Alienware computer so it connects just fine with the control panel if you already have it on your computer. All in all, I would say by it on sale, not at full price.

I’m extremely impressed with these headphones. I have and have had most of the high end brands of headphone for one thing or another, (Beats, Astro, other Logitech G series, Turtle Beach, etc.) and while some of them had great connection reliability, but maybe lacked a bit in sound. Or perhaps the sound was amazing but the connection was susceptible to interference, and I settled for Logitech G Series Astro A50’s. They were good, but are susceptible to radio interference, and the sound is only OK +. When I plugged these Alienware Trimode headphones in, they were both installed with recent enough drivers. The Alienware Commamd Center (which I had installed as I am running an Alienware Aurora R16 gaming rig, plus an Alienware monitor and wireless keyboard. The Alienware Command Center found and installed the latest firmware for the headset, as it had with the monitor and keyboard when I installed them. The sound is amazing (these corrected an issue I was having where I couldn’t hear anyone talk in game. The sound is also superior to the A50s on every way the highs are higher and pincher and the lows hit lower than any headphone I’ve ever heard. These are a seal at $129.99 in the white, but a true value either way. I can’t recepkment them any more highly.
