After putting together a few toys and robots for my kids, I’m always nervous about putting one together. But this one had great instructions and it took me about 30 minutes total. I put it together without my kid because they’re quite young but I think a kid 7 years or older could handle it. It requires 5 AA batteries. It has so many modes, doesn’t require you to code to make it run, but it also has a coding mode where you can instruct it to do a set of tasks. My kids were also delighted that it had a “fart” button, lol. Overall, a great quality robot and brings plenty of fun and learning about coding.

Easy assembly. Loads of fun.

This was just the stem activity we were looking for. My then ten year old had no problem assembling this, and has enjoyed playing with it and making the modifications to allow it to do different functions. It's one he will get out every so often, even a year later.

I bought this for my 6 year old son. He and I had fun building it together. He mostly just needed help making sure the wiring was ok (it’s simple and has easy to follow instructions throughout). It works well and he loves using it to battle his other remote control toys, so it’s sturdy! Great toy overall, no complaints so far!

This is designed for older children but younger children can also enjoy it if they have a grown up helping. More fun to build than to play with. The programming is just giving the remote a list of steps to follow. The motors are not very durable.
