It's a beautiful braiser in a beautiful colour, but I am convinced this pan and another I bought at the same time, are seconds. There is noticeable roughness in some areas of the lid on the edges of the engraved dragon design. This piece wouldn't pass inspection if intended to go to prime retailers. Seconds have small flaws like this.

This beautiful dragon braiser arrived early, it was well packaged & in perfect condition. I have several Staub cast iron casseroles & they all are excellent pieces of cookware, producing very good meals. It helps that they are beautifully coloured & in this case, has an engraved dragon. It will cook enough for 1-3 people. I thoroughly recommend that you add this piece to your collection.
