When this arrived my immediate thought was that it was much heavier than I had expected and, once I removed it from the box, that it would be frustrating to install.The reason the seat is heavy is that it is wooden and really quite good quality.My concern about the installation was also misplaced as it was pretty easy to fit, comes with instructions and everything you need so no tool kit required..... just patience.The seat doesn't wobble and fitted exactly.My only slight disappointment is the colour as the Quartz White isn't a brilliant/true white, but has a grey-tinge due to the glitter effect. It's still very nice and goes well in my bathroom, but if you're looking for a bright white you may find this isn't for you.

After receiving and rejecting 2 other toilet seats because we could not get them to fit properly as they slipped around ; we were losing hope. This seat has been easy to fit and is solid with no movement at all. The materials are hard wearing & I think it will look good & retain the colour well. So good value for money as will last a long time and look good.

It fits well and doesn’t slip which is what it promises. It’s comfortable and functions fabulously well. It requires a fair amount of adjustment, but the design allows for that degree of adjustment and with the security/safety promised in the blurb. The finish is good, but the aesthetics are just adequate. It is a shiny painted wooden loo seat. It’s not the cheapest and it works well. I’m struggling to feel too enthusiastic about a not overly stylish, very functional and reasonable quality loo seat.

We went though FIVE loo seats before trying this one, all the others were super light weight & poorly made & not simple to install. I initially liked due to the dark glitz black but when I read reviews about this being like the older style loo seats (having some weight to it) I said to myself this has be tried I was sick of the slow closing lids seats this wasn't important to me, being a GOOD look seat was all I wanted and we finally have one with this! Simple to install and I mean this honestly the five we tried before this all promised simple installs & you needed a math degree to fit them! Not this one PHEW. It has some nice weight to it, looks very sleek, I feel like I need to decorate the bathroom so it looks nicer to go with the loo lol.Great loo seat the best on the market by far.

The media could not be loaded. The toilet seat is generally well made, looks nice and the fixings are good and the non slip system is good.However, the hinge might as well be made out of chocolate and is only held on by a small screw. After only a few days use it is loose already and the screw doesn't now tighten up properly.It will be going back and we will look for a replacement.

Does not slip or slide easy to clean comfortably, warm and I have purchased many toilet sears in the last 2 years also very solid this will last long. Value for money yes fit great

Marketing:The Amazon product page shows the wrong video for this product, I only realised it was a non removable seat and non-soft-close after unpacking the seat fully.Fitting:Tightening the bolts caused the bolt heads to pull through the round plastic fitting, I had to craft some modified washers to resolve this. Otherwise I managed to fit the seat as described without any problems.Quality:The toilet seat seems okay, I like the stainless steel hinges, but the toilet seat is relatively heavy when closing, soft close assistance is recommended to stop accidents.On the final fit,I noticed the right leg from the plastic round base plate to the hinge was loose and the toilet seat was not without movement, I had to unscrew the toilet seat and tighten the stainless steel leg by rotating it, and refitting the screws.Aesthetic:Looks great

We have been fed up with toilet seats not fitting properly, constantly moving out of position and causing endless problems.I ordered the quartz blue one. Blue being the theme, due to the colour of the floor in the wet room.Aesthetically, none of the pictures do it any justice. It is a lovely shade of blue and very sparkly, it gives the impression that it costs a lot more than it does. It truly adds a touch of glamour to the wet room. 😀The seat is well made and is very solid and sturdy, it's actually made of solid wood. It is not self closing however.The claim by Croydex, once fit, never slips is absolutely 100% true. 👍I am very happy with it and it is much admired by all of our visitors.I highly recommend this toilet seat.UPDATE: 2 years since I purchased this and still in position, no movement whatsoever. It is also still looking sparkly and like new.
