I have been using this gimbal stabilizer with my iPhone 12 PRO, and it has made a big difference in the quality of my videos. I enjoy making online videos for my travel and gadgets reviews, and this tool helps me create smoother and more professional-looking footage. The iSteady M7 is very easy to set up and the Hohem Joy app walks me through all the steps I needed to do. The video instructions were clear, and I could start using it right away. I like how the controls are simple and intuitive, especially with the removable controller. This makes it convenient to adjust settings without touching my phone screen or the gimbal. The only confusing bit is that there is no instruction on how to view the camera overlay on the remote, I managed to worked it out and it is by swiping the remote control touch screen all the way to the right (once the gimbal is connected to the phone via Bluetooth) One of my favourite features is the stand alone AI tracker camera sitting on top of the gimbal. It keeps the subject in frame even when there is rapid movements, which is perfect for capturing action shots or filming people dancing. I have also used it to film myself while walking, and it keeps me centered and steady in the frame. The gimbal feels sturdy and well-built, and I trust it to hold my phone securely. The built-in extension rod is another great addition. It allows me to film myself handheld without having to use the wide angle lens which distort my face. There is also a side 1/4" mounting point for a secondary light to illuminate my face when I am filming at night. The touchscreen makes it easy to change settings on the go. I find the interface straightforward, all the functions have picture as well as in words of the name and I appreciate having quick access to all the features. Battery life is also reliable, lasting through my long video sessions without needing frequent charging. Overall, this gimbal stabilizer has been an excellent tool for my video-making needs. It has allowed me to capture smoother and more dynamic shots. A fantastic Christmas present to myself !

All the 5star reviews are correct. I’m all new to gimbals and think I’ve timed my entry into stabilised short form video content creation nicely. Tested out for first time and not being one who reads the manual I found balancing my phone then setting up the app a breeze. This is a well conceived product

This thing is soooo much fun. AI tracking is amazing, motors are quite strong, so many functions and the detachable controller is next level useful if you shoot on your own. It’s robust but reasonably lightweight. There’s a learning curve if you never had a gimbal before but it’s worth it. Vertical balancing does get tricky if you use lens extensions with your phone but it handles the stated 500g without failure.

The iSteady M7 is simply the best in it's class considering how much it offers. Though, a bit expensive, it has everything you will ever need to take take your smartphone videography to the next level. The detachable screen is such a great innovative and makes it much easier to film yourself from any distance away. Bar the big size, it is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes with the red contrasts on a background of black. I've only had it for a few months and I can confidently recommend it 👌🏾 if price isn't an issue.

I thought I’d buy one of these gimbals after seeing one demonstrated on YouTube. It appeared to work well, but after trying three previous gimbals and them all being useless tat my hopes were not especially high. Could this be the one to save the day? NO! Absolutely not! It flat out refused to point the way I wanted it to and it frequently “tied itself up in knots” beeping profusely. Everything was set appropriately; no locks left on, but it was a disaster. I will never buy a gimbal ever again!

I've had the Hohem M6 gimbal for a while, but when I saw the new model was released, I felt like it was time for an upgrade. It holds my Samsung S25 Ultra with the case perfectly—no issues at all. The AI tracking is solid; I haven’t had a chance to take it outside yet, but from my indoor tests, it’s been flawless. The best part? The detachable display. It feels like the end of those frustrating moments when I had to reshoot low follow videos just because the framing was slightly off. Now, I can frame my shot properly and keep an eye on it while filming.

This is a really great product with exceptional functionality. There are several good YouTube videos that describe all of them. The face tracking feature has so far worked brilliantly and best of all from a creative point of view it does things I did not expect and so pushes creativity.

Por mi afición a la fotografía, me puedo considerar afortunado de haber probado gran cantidad de gimbals de los que hay actualmente en el mercado. Algunos los he comprado y otros me los han dejado amigos para probar y he de decir que Hohem a día de hoy es una de las marcas que mejor calidad precio está ofreciendo y que más ha evolucionado en los últimos años. Al principio eran un poco sencillos y de calidades un poco mediocres, como el primer modelo de isteady que tuve. Poco a poco fueron implementando su catálogo con otros como el Multi o los que sacaron para cámaras de acción, y con los modelos X y X1 la cosa cambió. Ya se empezó a notar un cambio en los materiales y las calidades. A día de hoy, modelos como este M7 no tiene nada, pero nada que envidiar a los DJI los FEIYU o los ZHIYUN, marcas estas, de las que he tenido y tengo varios de sus modelos, como el Scorp o el Smooth 5. Este modelo nuevo de Hohem mejora en mucho con respecto al modelo anterior. Mejor autonomía, mayor potencia de los motores, mejor software y una aplicación más completa y con mejores efectos. Además, la tendencia del mercado está cambiando mucho, porque con los nuevos modelos de teléfono podemos obtener los mismos y prácticamente iguales resultados que con equipos mucho mas caros y pesados. Este nuevo M7 me gusta porque una vez centrado el teléfono y equilibrado, podemos llegar a obtener unas 12 horas de autonomía, y si a esto le sumamos la gran cantidad de planos que podemos llegar a conseguir con un poco de imaginación y con los diferentes modos que tenemos en la aplicación, nuestros videos van a dar un salto de calidad espectacular. Es sin duda un complemento muy interesante para todos aquellos a los que nos gusta la fotografía. La ergonomía y el manejo es muy buena y podemos llegar a los diferentes botones sin tener que sujetar el gimbal con las dos manos. Tememos además una nueva pantalla que podemos retirar del cuerpo del gimbal que nos permite poder operarlo sin necesidad de usar el móvil, ya que en la misma podremos llegar a ver lo que se está filmando y desde esta misma pantalla, poder configurar los diferentes movimientos y efectos preconfigurados sin tener que hacerlo desde el móvil. Además, la pantalla cuenta con joystick, por lo que podremos controlar todos los motores a distancia. Esta pantalla se carga al volver a conectarla con el cuerpo del gimbal. Otra de las ventajas de este gimbal es que cuenta con brazo extensible, lo que nos permite hacer tomas a ras de suelo sin tener que agacharnos y al mismo tiempo poder usarlo de palo selfie o para poder grabar por encima de concentraciones de gente. Esto es una gran ventaja frente a otros modelos y además, el hecho de tener este paso en el cuerpo del gimbal no hace que la autonomía sea inferior. Como ya he dicho, podemos llegar a alcanzar las 12 horas de uso sin problemas. Los motores son realmente potentes y según las instrucciones, podremos poner móviles de hasta 500 gramos, cosa que lo veo un poco exagerado, ya que ese peso solo lo tienen los móviles rugerizados y no sé si alguno llegará a tanto. En resumen, que no tendremos problemas de desfallecimiento o fatiga en los mismos. Podemos usarlos sin problema con la lente gran angular de nuestros móviles, y aunque el eje central se encuentre en el campo de visión, si pulsamos 4 veces seguidas el gatillo del gimbal, este girará sobre si mismo, permitiendo que el eje se sitúe en la pantalla del móvil y de esa manera no perjudicar las tomas. Es algo muy muy interesante, ya que el gimbal sigue funcionando perfectamente y ofreciendo la misma estabilidad. Viene en una caja de transporte semirrígida que nos ayudar a tener todo a mano y a que no se dañe en los viajes. Es un gimbal muy bueno a un precio un poco elevado la verdad, pero que si lo comparamos con otros más caros, nos ofrece las mismas caracteristicas características y posibilidades por mucho menos dinero Hohem lo ha hecho otra vez muy muy bien.

I recently bought the Hohem iSteady M7 Gimbal Stabilizer for my iPhone 13 Pro, and overall, I’m really happy with it! I use it for filming social media videos for clients, so stability and smooth shots are essential for me. The gimbal does an excellent job in that department! The AI tracking feature is awesome, and the detachable touchscreen remote is a game changer. It makes controlling everything so much easier while filming. One of my favorite features is the extendable rod. That’s been one of my biggest complaints about other gimbals — they’re just too short. It’s so great to finally have the ability to extend the rod for those wider shots and more flexibility. However, I did run into a little issue with audio. When I recorded with just the iPhone’s built-in microphone, I noticed a rumbling sound. After calling the company, they suggested the motor might be the cause since the balance seemed fine. I returned the first gimbal and bought a second one, but I encountered the same issue. After digging through some online forums, I realized I just needed to use a Bluetooth microphone to avoid the rumbling. Once I made that switch, the issue was completely solved, and I haven’t looked back! It’s been amazing for my social media projects, and I highly recommend it, especially if you’re doing any sort of video work where you need smooth shots and great features like the magnetic AI tracker and fill light. Definitely worth it!

Ho voluto acquistare lo stabilizzatore iSteady M7 per andare a migliore notevolmente la qualità dei miei video ed utilizzandolo con un iPhone 16 pro max potete immagina già l'ottima qualità che esso offre, il prodotto devo dire che ha superato tutte le aspettative che c'erano in gioco ad oggi lo utilizzo quotidianamente e devo dire di esserne completamente soddisfatto. La confezione contiene al suo interno: - Stabilizzatore - Tracker - Telecomando - Luce led RGB - Cavo tipo C - Custodia - Manuale utente Riguardo il design dello stabilizzatore devo dire che si presenta abbastanza bene parliamo di un prodotto abbastanza molto robusto ben costruito e caratterizzato da materiali di qualità, cjhe lo rendono al contempo molto leggero ma abbastanza robusto. Il design è ergonomico pesa circa 500 grammi considerato circa 200 grammi di smartphone abbiamo comunque un gimbal abbastanza leggero considerato il prodotto di qualità. Andiamo al comparto prestazioni che devo dire essere il piatto forte del prodotto, le prestazioni sono eccellenti è uno stabilizzatore caratterizzato da un motore molto potente che permette una stabilizzazione fluida anche in caso di movimenti bruschi ed improvvisi, è compatibile inoltre con tutti i tipi di smartphone presenti in commercio da Apple a Samsung e così via, si regola facilmente. La connessione con il nostro smartphone avviene mediante Bluetooth ma con una copertura dello stesso abbastanza valida senza alcun minimo tipo di lag o struttering. Abbiamo funzionalità quali il Tracker AI con luce RGB ovvero una funzione di tracciamento con intelligenza artificiale che va ad individuare il soggetto e lo segue in tutte le sue movenze questo significa avere maggior resa durante i vlog o riprese in movimento, la luce inoltre è regolabile in colore e temperature. Abbiamo un telecomandino tattile staccabile ovvero è utile nel caso lo si voglia andare a controllare a distanza senza per forza avere lo stabilizzatore tra le mani. Inoltre abbiamo un asta con prolunga per andare ad aumentare la versatilità del prodotto per riprese dall'alto o comunque a distanza notevole. La batteria integrata permette un utilizzo del gimbal di parecchie ore circa una giornata intera, si ricarica inoltre con cavetto usb tipo C e devo dire che ci sta veramente pochissimo a ricaricarsi del tutto. In conclusione lo stabilizzatore è molto versatile è un prodotto che rientra tra la categoria professionisti ad esempio fotografi o vlogger ma anche per i principianti, ad oggi lo utilizzo e devo dire che nonostante il prezzo è altino li vale tutti. Not really that simple to use! The video does not display on the remove once I remove from the device the remote video image disappears! You also need the microphone because you can’t plug the ones you already have as it doesn’t fit with balancing! Need also the tripod as the one it goes with is so short not even worth it!
