Exactly why I ordered them

Good consistant lead shot. Probably ok if you need just for a small hobby project. But the price per pound is prohibitive for reloading. But you typically buy reloading quantities in 10# or 25# bags. Shipped in a box but could have been sent in smaller padded envelope. So part of price is definitely shipping.

Used two packs of these to make a dead blow mallet. Worked perfectly!

Good clean lead shot, perfect for adding weight to resin fishing lures, game pieces, 3d prints, ect.. I used some to fill the bases of resin chess pieces to made them feel heavier and less likely to tip over. The provided weight was accurate (actually a little over a pound) and size is fairly consistent. If you don't need huge quantities, and just want some for smaller projects this works great. I would definitely recommend this lead shot for anyone looking to add a little weight to their projects.

I selected this for the purpose of reloading - which it's actually one of the purposes it's advertised for - so this review will be from that perspective. For reloading, it's passable. Using some calipers, I found that these really do measure out to the diameter of #7.5 shot. They look fairly well made. I reloaded a few and had no problems doing so. Haven't shot them yet. If I encounter any issues, I'll update the review.So why wouldn't I use these for reloading? The main reason is cost. Per unit/lb, these are significantly higher than the bags of shot sold expressly for the purpose of reloading. Second, I found that quite a few of these pellets were either not spherical at all or had burrs or other malformations.It's quite possible that these may be useful for other crafts or hobbies though.
