Nice light for bat prevention
I bought these lights after looking at reviews that mentioned bats. Last year we had a bat that wanted to take up residence at night where the pergola meets the soffit of our house. We left our deck light on last year after reading the bats don’t like light, so this year I purchased these lights to put at three areas on the ledge. So far they are working, it’s a little early in the season, but I am confident that they will keep the bats away. They are very bright, and they come on with any motion. I will mention that installation was a little tricky on the first one, trying to get the cover off. But once I got the hang of it, I was able to adjust the other two.

Reactivity is incredible, and its bright.
Its sensors are very sensitive to the slightest movement; it works as advertised.

Effective motion sensing light product to install outdoors or indoors
The media could not be loaded. I installed three of these last night by my front door, my backyard door/patio area and my side yard. They don't shine a giant spotlight on you - that's not its purpose and not what I am looking for either. I was just looking for something simple to detect motion and shine some light at night when you are around and then turn off if nothing is happening, and these get the job done. I'm impressed with the detection - the one by my front door is also next to my garage, it definitely detected me from my garage area about 20 feet away from my door where it is exactly installed.Over time I've gradually upgraded the security of my house with battery alarm/chime sensors on my doors and windows, a few wireless doorbell cameras and a few wireless security cameras, along with these lights finishing off my project.Easy product to set up overall if you know how to work with tools. I did have a problem on one of the installs coming close to stripping one of the included screws, so you might want to have extra screws or nails on hand - not a huge deal for me. I eventually got that install to work. Also to that, the product is setup to install it with two screws, in my opinion you should likely be able to get by just installing one screw if you can secure the light to the wall tightly, and you likely will have more flexibility in placing/moving the product around with just 1 screw installed instead of 2.Despite having to improvise with one of the installs above, very content with purchasing these.EDIT: Update a few weeks later in early August. I now have 6 of these installed around my house, refer to the related video walking when its dark from my backyard to sideyard to frontyard. Two installed in each general area. They get the job done very effectively detecting you around the area - and combining these with some of the other security devices I've recently implemented on my house, very very content with how this has worked out so far.

Excellent motion light
Shipping quickly. This is very reliable. Used "C" batteries. I have used it for our aging dog to help him see his water bowl at night. This would work in a closet also. Many uses! So portable!

A quality light from a quality company
This is an awesome light, and an awesome company. How do I know it's an awesome light? Because I have it installed and I am using it.It's my main light for my pellet grill. On when I need it, off when I don't. It lights up the grilling area perfectly at night - no muss, no fuss. No worrying about batteries charging, and since it takes C-sized batteries and uses a low-current LED (that's amazingly bright!) - changing batteries won't be a daily thing. Heck, I've had it for a month, on some old batteries I found in a drawer, and it still is running strong. When I do need to change the batteries, it'll be a simple job - just rotate the light off, pop the old ones out, put the new ones in, and put the light back into place. Then keep on grillin'!How do I know it's an awesome company? Well - by their actions. You see - one guy mentioned in the comments for one of their other products how he had to modify the light's sensor to make it work better for his purpose. He posted this - and a company rep responded to his comment, and said the he had spoken to their engineers about his "hack"; instead of clamming up or becoming indignant about an "unapproved mod" - he left a comment about how to make other changes to make things better. In other words, this company is "mod friendly" - that's a real rarity in this day and age. Extreme kudos to Mr. Beams on this front.I will buy more lights from this company in the future - they've shown their quality!

So bright!
Love this new light! I wanted something to light up the dark garage when I took a bag of garbage out, and this does the trick. The motion sensor is sensitive, so it lights up as soon as I open the door. All the pictures show it hanging on the wall, but I just set mine on a shelf and it works perfectly. I definitely recommend this item.

Motion detection goes haywire when there's no movement
I purchased three of the Beams MB300 80 Lumen Wireless Battery Powered Motion Sensing LED Mini Spotlight. All three exhibited an issue with the motion detection. It will turn on normal after detecting movement and shut off 30 seconds, then a few seconds later, it will turn on again and shut off 30 seconds (by itself with no movement). This will repeat several more times with no movement. There's no switch to shut it off. The first spotlight detect issue happened the first time I put the battery in. The second spotlight detect issue came after a month of use. The third spotlight detect issue occurred after three months of use, but this time the light stayed on continuously. I now have three useless spotlights that doesn't do the job it's supposed to do. By the way, I did place fresh new three C batteries in the spotlights, and they still had the same detection movement issue of turning on and off continuously when there is no movement. I give the motion detection a one star because of the defect issue. I would not purchase this product again unless the company fix this problem.
