Better choice than earphones/headphones/airpods
I got this item from Dubai and then ordered one for a relative in india when price dropped to 14K. Since it's not over-the-ear, noise cancellation is limited but still apt.Pros:1. Good sound for a bone conduction set2. Best for adults and people with earwax problem, no ear ache as well3. Can be worn under helmet without traffic risks unlike ear/headphones4. Great for workout and running, doesn't dislocate5. Bass is good. 19-20 difference from 8000 worth of sony headphones6. Easy connectivity7. Firmware updates via app8. Charges 70%+ in 15-20mins9. Good for meetings, gaming and moviesCons:1. Battery lasts for 12-13hrs only2. No built-in Gemini support and gestures like some 10K+ headphones

Worth it, If you know the Technology behind it.
This is my first ever Bone Conduction headphones I have used or purchase.Having gone through multiple reviews, finally decided to purchase these. As all reviewers have emphasized do not have expectations for it to perform like a normal Headphone/Earphone.With that in mind ordered Openrun Pro 2 after eliminating all the others. On opening the box, it comes with a nice case, the headphones, USB cable (A to C), warranty card with serial and reflective stickersAfter downloading the app, I pared it with my phone and the registration was done on the fly along with a firmware upgrade.App allows you to multi-pair and adjust EQ to your liking. The build quality is very good and robust. The band sits comfortably on both ear and found no issues with it. I can probably wear this much longer than any headphones/earphones I have owned till date.Coming to the audio, I started with 50% volume on standard EQ, I was pleasantly surprised to hear the audio almost similar to having a headphone/earphone on.Only thing was the bass wont be able to compare to standard ear/headphones, but it was not such that you could not appreciate the bass. In fact it sounds much much better than any mobile phone speakers and better than most portable bluetooth speakers, regarding bass (only way to give an easy comparative description)Picking and answering calls is easy and the mic noise cancellation is awesome, such that the person on the other side will not realize you are on a wireless.Going on a walk or jog the headphones perform 100% to what they are specified for.Have not given a full run for its battery life but will update on it soon. Conclusion: Very happy and satisfied with the purchase abet the price kinds pinches on the pockets. At the time I bought this the similar bone conducting Bose was selling lower than this by 1k+Would definitely to people who completely understand what they are signing up for.

Excellent, ergonomic and value for money
First impression, excellent design, easy to use and easy to configure.Secondly this can connect maximum 2 devices at a time. So my phone is connected ( that's needed for registering and configure ) and my laptop.Charging speed is excellent.Call quality - very good. I tested multiple way like facing a fan and talking, while on the other end they don't hear the air /wind sound. So call clarity is very good.Only thing I noticed, when someone send voice message with low note it is difficult to hear. May be because I use iPhone and that cause the problem ? I don't know.I used normal size band, so feel comfortable. But I guess most people do not need that, the small size fits perfectly.Overall good value for money. Giving the functionality as expected.I had problem with in-ear and over-ear headphones. I feel something is crawling in ear at night. Now that issue is disappeared after using this. So, feels better for the ear, if you are using headphones regularly.Another small problem I noticed, in Windows, auto-reconnect sometimes is bit laggy. We have to manually connect.

Understand what it is and isn't before you buy!
I had my eyes on the shockz bone conducting headset for a while, so when I saw it on discount I purchased it, my first sentiment is a little disappointing, here's what I liked and what I did not -Likes -1. Comfort - as this is neither in ear nor over ear it is actually quite comfortable and can be worn for hours easily without problems.2. Awareness - as this doesn't cover your ears, it let's you hear sounds from outside, so it is quite good for outdoor activities like running (as the name suggests) or even to listen to music while being aware of what is happening around you (I initially used to do this by plugging in only 1 ear with my in-ear headsets, but this seems to be better in this regards)3. Sound quality - I quite liked the audio quality on this headset, pretty crisp notes, not too high on base. To be honest though, don't expect mind blowing audiophile level audio from this headset. Other headsets in the same range can usually provide much better audio immersion by blocking external noise and creating a better experience. Within the given circumstances this headset does a surprisingly good job in producing great sound!Dislikes -1. Noise cancellation - the headset claims noise cancellation which I did not experience, pretty poor cancellation. I often take calls while walking outdoors, but the poor cancellation here means that I cannot really use this headset for calls when outdoors or in noisy environments. A very disappointing miss for me given the superior alternatives in the price range with in-ear or over-ear2. Practicality - there's a pretty good case provided with this headset, but space consuming, given the nature of the firm band with the headset storing and using the headset isn't the most convinient. I would've liked a more flexible band which I could fold and store easily or even a detachable band which would've made this very practical.3. On/Off - even basic headsets today disconnect when the magnetic tips are brought together, but with this it doesn't switch off untill I power it off through the button. This is an irritating problem for me becase I am used to removing the headset and it disconnecting automatically and now I forget that it's not disconnected and end up taking calls that automatically go to the headset without realising4. Battery life - very avg battery life, particularly since I can't auto disconnect the headset and since it's made to keep on the head for long durations I feel battery consumption is pretty fast, I had to recharge my new headset within 2 days which isn't great as I would potentially get a lot more out of other headsets in the same rangeAll in all, a fantastic headset for limited use cases, if you want to use this predominantly for running or working out and want comfort as well as awareness you won't get anything better than this! But if you plan on using it for more that that as well, to take calls for instance or are an audiophile you might be disappointed.Hope this helps!

Comfortable fit, but disappointing in noisy environments
I bought this expecting to experience bone conduction technology, but in reality, it felt more like a regular open-ear headphone. The speakers simply rest outside the ears, facing towards them, rather than transmitting sound through bone conduction. Personally, I didn't notice any bone conduction effect or any significant advantage over conventional earphones.Pros:- Fits comfortably and securely around the head.- Since the speakers don't go inside the ears, they are more comfortable to wear for longer durations and cause less ear fatigue.Cons:1. Poor performance in noisy environments: While cycling on Indian roads or working out at the gym, even at maximum volume, it's difficult to hear the audio because surrounding noise overpowers it.2. Battery life: The battery drains much faster than my older conventional earphones.3. No auto power-off: There isn't a convenient way to ensure the headset turns off automatically. If I forget to switch it off before going to bed, the battery is usually drained by morning. My previous earphones automatically powered off when the magnetic earbuds snapped together, which was much more convenient.Overall:While the comfort is good, the sound experience and battery performance did not meet my expectations. For my use case, especially outdoor cycling and gym workouts, I found it disappointing.

Unexpectedly great!
Expensive, even at discounted prices, but very worth it.I was initially skeptical about their performance and online reviews, but I bought them in the interest of road safety while cycling. Their performance has far exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is excellent and music is perfectly audible at medium volume in all but the loudest traffic situation. Wind, even when riding at 35kmph did not affect sound quality. With the ear canals left open, situational awareness is greatly enhanced than with in-ear phones. There is no sound leakage, except at the highest volume (which is actually too loud to be practically usable).Wearing them is very comfortable and within 10-15min I no longer noticed them. They fit without an issue while wearing my cycling goggles and helmet. I chose the standard size after visiting the website and reading the sizing guide. The build quality is excellent and connecting them to my iPhone 13 via Bluetooth and the Shokz app took just a few seconds and the firmware was updated immediately. I have not tried multi-device connection. The volume adjustment and multi-function buttons are easily accessible. Not tried the mic for calls. Primarily using this to listen to music while out riding.Really cool colour (but I wish they'd offered more colour options). The inclusion of numerous reflective stickers with the device is a pleasant, useful and unexpected bonus.Very happy with the product.

Great for staying safe and aware
• Comfort and fit — lightweight, flexible headband that stays put through runs and rides without any hot spots or pressure points, even after a couple of hours.• Environmental awareness — since they don’t block your ear canal, you stay fully aware of traffic, other riders, or people around you, which matters a lot for outdoor training.• Improved sound over the original OpenRun — Shokz added an air conduction driver alongside the bone conduction one, so bass and overall clarity are noticeably better than older bone conduction models.• Battery life — easily gets you through a long run or a full ride, and the fast-charge feature is handy if you forgot to plug them in the night before.• USB-C charging — finally, no more proprietary magnetic cable to lose.Cons:• Price — they’re on the expensive side for what is still, fundamentally, a niche audio format.• Sound quality has a ceiling — even with the upgrades, it’s not going to compete with proper in-ear or over-ear headphones. Bass and detail are decent for the category but noticeably behind sealed headphones.• Wind noise — on windy days (cycling especially), the sound can get a bit drowned out.• Controls take some getting used to — the button layout isn’t the most intuitive at first.Would I recommend them? Yes — especially if you’re a runner or cyclist who prioritizes safety and awareness over pure sound quality. If you want rich, immersive audio, look elsewhere. But if you want headphones you can wear for hours without discomfort while still hearing what’s going on around you, the OpenRun Pro 2 are one of the best in their category.

Awesome!!
Best thing I’ve bought in ages - so happy with them! Sound quality is really good, they are light and comfortable, you can hear what’s going on around you. They are really good for phone calls too! Only gripe is more sound leakage than I expected.
