One of my best purchases to date.
I own a lot of kitchen appliancesโstand mixers, bread & deli meat slicers, food processors, air fryers, you name it. This dehydrator is by far one of my most useful additions to my home. Our family consumes a lot of protein, and being able to make shelf-stable jerky from raw to finished in under 24hrs is AMAZING. The shelves are the perfect size to fit 4-5 very long slices of beef on each rack. I have easily processed just over 5lbs of meat in one go. This thing is FASTโmuch faster than Iโd imagined. With the raw setting, even thicker slices of meat are beautifully crisp all the way through in under 24hrs. So far, this dehydrator has proven to be durable and efficient. Very good value for money. Runs very quietly, so much that it is not noticeable. Dries items evenly and thoroughly, have not noticed any โweak spotsโ that arenโt reached by the drying fans as well. I really do love this thing, and it gets very good use in my family of four. We also dry cubed beef kidneys & liver for our dogs, as well as aromatics (garlic, onion, peppers) for powders in cooking. Awesome dehydrator, highly satisfied & would recommend.

Very effecient, quiet, dryer
For the first use, I dried 13 pounds of yellow plums in about 18 hours at 135 degrees. The dryer is very quiet and has a wide temp range. Pears next week and then beef jerky after that. I lightly coat the racks with olive oil and sticking is minimal. Wash the racks in the dishwasher and the inside had one small spot of fruit juice. Unit is small compared to the capacity it can dry quickly. Just as good as my late 1960's Magic Mill stone grinding flour mill.

Best Dehydrator I have Owned
I make a lot of dehydrated, fruits, vegetables, and jerky. This has enough shelves and space to put a a lot of food for dehydration (usually yielding a gallon bag or more depending on size of food). It is easy to clean and takes less time to dehydrate food, than I have done with previous dehydrators.

Worth every penny
Love it! I make tons of jerkies, fruit leathers and dehydrated peppers with this machine. Easy to clean and super consistent when it comes to maintaining temperatures.

Maybe not a typical use....
I do a fair bit of 3D FDM printing. The plastic filament used "prints" very well when it is dry, but if it sits around for a while and picks up moisture, it can be impossible to get a good print. A bunch of companies make 3D filament dryers. In my experience, they are cheaply constructed. They don't go a good job of keeping the air moving around the filament so drying can be uneven if you don't keep going back and rotating the spools. When the last one I purchased failed after 2 days, I returned it to Amazon and decided that I was done with 3D Filament Dryers. I found this 10 tray food dehydrator. It had excellent reviews. And the price was good for me. So I ordered it. I can put three 1 kilogram spools into this dryer. It has an active fan that really circulates the air inside the cabinet. And I've been pleased with how accurate the temperature control is. Like I said in the headline, maybe my use is not a typical use for this piece of equipment. But I've been very happy with it. And given that it does such a great job on these pieces of plastic I'm trying to dry out, I have to think that it would also be great at doing it's intended job of dehydrating food. My only complaint about it - and I never thought I'd hear myself say this - is that I can't set it to display in Centigrade. All the filaments out there typically give you their preferred drying temperature in Celsius. And this unit is Farenheit only. LOL. It's not a big deal for me. I simply made myself a little conversion chart and that works great for me! So that's not really something I should complain about. I just love this machine. A word of caution though if you do want to use this for drying 3D printer filament. It operates between 90 and 165 degrees F (32 to 74 degrees C). So some of the engineering materials like TPU, PC, PPS, etc., may have to be dried longer at a lower temperature or maybe you'll have to use a different system for them. I rarely print in those materials. And typically when I do, I'll burn up a whole spool within a few days so they really don't sit around and pick up moisture. But just be aware of that "limitation." But I can say with full conviction that this is an excellent addition to my 3D printing efforts. I highly recommend it.

If you like Jerky! This is your Machine.
This dehydrator makes the best beef and salmon jerky! This is easily my top three kitchen appliances. Very easy to use and clean. Food sticking is not really a problem.

Great for yogurt too!
We are hobby organic farmers and I've had a hand made dehydrator my mom bought years ago. It was made out of wood and very big but very basic with a hole, fan, and heat element with no adjustments. It worked but my wife was wanting something a little more precise for more specific needs. I was impressed with the quality, it keeps it's temperature steady, and has a tidy footprint. My wife loves it and has used it most for making yogurt. We're very pleased and would recommend this to anyone.

Great Machine
I started making my own beef jerky at home and l think the best method is using a dehydrator to dry out your meat, so l needed something that could hold 3kg of meat easy to operate, reliable temperature values not noisy and easy to clean. This is it the Magic Mill Pro.

Pros and Cons of this unit.
This is a nice unit. The pros are it looks nice and it has a clear front door which opens nicely. The cons are it does NOT have a pause action button. So when I stop the unit to check on and shift around my shelves, the timer goes back to zero and you have to reset the whole thing. Very annoying. Also, the racks are metal which is nice for vegetables and non-stick items. However, I use this unit for a lot of fruit and it stuck to the shelves so bad I almost scraped them into powder. I did buy some silicone racks and they worked better for fruit in this unit. It is also very large so takes up a lot of counter space compared to my old unit. However, I also like how quiet it is. So these are all the things I noticed after using it a few times for both fruit and vegetables. Be aware of that when buying the item. If I had to do it again, I would probably not buy this for those reasons because I do mainly fruit and I need a timer to check because cutting fruit is not a uniform process so they dry at differing rates.
