I am using this for both pain relief and to break an itch-scratch cycle. Pain relief is limited, as I'm on massive analgesics anyway, but they cause itching on the skin of my upper back for no reason, possible neuropathic, but not sure. So, a dermatologist friend told me to use something that would ice the site of the itching, maybe an ice pack (not comfy or practical , where this itching is worst) or this. Be warned, a little of this goes a loooong way! And it ices immediately on skin contact, so be careful of the fingers you use to rub it on!!! Mild icing effect, but stops the itching. I'll wait to see if it has a long term effect.

Having had my hip replaced twice and subsequently dislocated it !! I needed a pain relief cream that would help relieve the pain I felt periodically as the damaged muscles repaired and this has worked better than most. My wife also uses it for neck and lower back pain where it has provided some noticeable relief for her..

I bought this primarily to apply to my shoulder which regularly gets quite stiff/sore.The last stuff I used works a treat but I cannot find it anymore, so I bought this one and it doesn't work nearly as good. After applying it to my shoulder there is no real cooling effect and I can still feel pain. So I am not quite sure what it is actually doing
