Easy to install, excellent privacy, and the included instruction sheet is worth reading
I used this Dwersty privacy film on the glass panels on my front door, and I really like the finished result. The film gives me exactly what I wanted: you can't really see in or out through the glass anymore, but plenty of light still comes through and from inside it has a nice soft frosted appearance. The kit includes pretty much everything you need to install it other than the soapy water. You get a small spray bottle, a film cutter, and a squeegee that requires a little assembly. Everything is on the small side, but it all worked fine for the job. I also have to mention the included information sheet, because it is hilarious. Whoever wrote it definitely has a sense of humor, and it is actually worth reading instead of immediately throwing it away. The film itself was easy to apply and trim. One thing I learned while cutting it is not to be stingy with the snap-off blades. If the cutter starts dragging or pulling at the film instead of slicing cleanly, just snap off the end of the blade and continue. A fresh edge cuts through it very easily, but the small blades do dull fairly quickly. I was also curious how this would look over the decorative glass already in my door, and was not disappointed. The window has its own sections with a frosted/etched pattern, and at normal viewing distance those details are still visible through the film. From the outside in daylight, the glass becomes fairly reflective. It actually looks pretty good that way. When you get very close to the glass, the frosting from the film takes over and obscures most of the effect, but you definitely can't see in, which is exactly what I would expect from a privacy film. The Dwersty Frosted Glass Privacy FIlm was easy to install, gives excellent privacy without making the entryway dark, and looks good both from inside and outside. On top of that, it's a great value at an affordable cost. Easy 5 stars from me.

Love it
I absolutely love this window tint! It’s perfect because it lets in just enough light for my plants while still giving me the privacy I wanted. No one can see inside, which is a huge plus. It was also really easy to install. I just cut along the lines, sprayed some soapy water on the back of the tint and the window, then used the provided flat tool to smooth out the bubbles. It was simple and didn’t take long at all. Overall, I’m very happy with this tint. It looks great, gives me privacy, and still lets in enough natural light for my plants. Definitely recommend!

Privacy+sunshine!
Love this privacy film. Was super easy to install and I love that it only used soap&water because that means there’s no risk of damage when i eventually remove it. Renter friendly. Also does the job very well. Bought it since my apartment windows face the stairs and wanted privacy. I get that privacy completely, but also have plenty of light come in. I haven’t noticed a difference in heat reduction, but if you’re going for privacy and keeping natural light, highly recommend.

Great product with extra supplies
It works! Now I have a privacy on my windows. It comes with other supplies that really helped to install as well as grids on the film that helps to cut it straight. Only thing I was little annoying is freaky to pill off the back of the film.

Simple to use, looks so beautiful.
I ordered this product for some privacy for the door glass panel in my home office room. When the product was delivered, I was first upset that they sent me the wrong design as there were grid lines on the film. But , when I read the instructions I realized that it was just the peel of paper. All the necessary items for installing it are provided. The small spray bottle, utility knife and scraper are tucked inside the roll itself. It was super easy to install. Looks so beautiful and as if it’s etched on the glass itself. It’s not at all transparent. You can maybe see shadows. But nothing more. Would definitely recommend it.

Great film that still allows light in
For the price it is a great film. It looks great and still allows light to come through. It was fairly easy to install. When they say more soapy water is better they are not lying. Sprays tons on it. Only peel a small amount off at a time if you have pets. Any pet hair in the area will stick to the back. It is easy to remove but then you will need to spray more every time you lift it up.

Really easy to apply and works great!
I had my kitchen remodeled and had upper window cabinets installed. I don't want anything in them but didn't want to be able to see inside them either (you could see the hinges and back which I didn't like). I used this film to frost the glass and it turned out great. Honestly, no one but me knows the difference because you can't tell it's there excepty you can't see inside anymore. Just what I wanted. Installation was easy: Use A LOT of water - spray the glass and the film. I used a full-size sprayer. That little bottle they include is a nice touch but, well, sort of useless. I filled a bottle with water, put 1/8 of a tsp of Dawn dish soap in it, shook it up and then I was off to the races. I had help and I sprayed as my sister was pulling the backing off. Soaked the dickens out of it. But here's the pro tip - when you are done take your blow dryer at low heat and just use it to get the water out from under the edges and to "chase" any small water bubbles out from under the film. Its gets those peskly little bubbles out really nicely after you squeegee. Once I did that it worked like a charm. Might not be necessary for bigger windows but for these little ones, it was really helpful. Don't use it at high heat, just low enough to blow the edge water out.

Good overall, but the finish is a little too delicate
Overall, I’m pretty happy with how this turned out. All of the tools needed for installation were included, which was really convenient, and the entire process only took me about 30 minutes including cleaning and prep. It was fairly easy to install and gives the window the privacy I was looking for. My biggest complaint is that some of the frosted finish started coming off when I lightly squeegeed over the same area more than once. I still have a few small air bubbles that I’d normally try to work out, but I’m hesitant to keep going over them because I don’t want to remove any more of the finish. From a distance it looks good and does its job, but I wish the surface was a little more durable during installation. 3/5 stars.

Pretty
Came exactly as advertised and really pretty, especially when hit by the light. Shines and sparkles beautifully. It's an easy installation as I have another version that I currently have installed and thus can't try this out yet. But you just need the given tools and some water.

Fantastic Floral Privacy Film
I live in a rented apartment with a ground-floor back patio door that has seen better days. It's an awkward size and I haven't been able to buy ready-made window treatments to fit. I wanted something that would allow privacy but not make me feel blocked off from the world, and that would hide the disintegrating seal in the old door. Enter this pretty privacy film! This roll is a full kit that comes with a detailed double-sided instruction sheet and a few cute little tools. Reading the instructions, it's clear that the tools are more of a bonus than actually useful, but that's okay. The little spray bottle is super cute and will work great for my watercolour paints. There's also a tiny craft knife and a small squegee that comes in two parts that you slide together. The instructions show you need full-size products and a lot more than that but they do walk you through the entire process. I have not installed it yet as it is mid-Winter and very cold here, and it does say the film will not adhere well in cold temperatures. It also suggests having a friend to help when installing larger pieces. The back of the film has a pre-printed grid, like good gift wrap, for help in cutting the lines straight and the instructions say to cut it oversized and then trim to fit. There's a lot of film in the one roll so I'm confident that if I do make a mistake the first time I install, I will have more than enough to try it again. The floral design is so pretty, it's intricate and feels vintage-inspired but still reads as modern. It reminds of of etched crystal glasses and vases. I'm hoping all those facets in the design will catch the light and make rainbows as promised. Really looking forward to installing this film!

Beautiful Rainbow Stained Glass Window Film – Adds Color & Privacy
It’s a vibrant, decorative static cling film that transforms plain windows into colourful sun catchers while providing light privacy. • Pros: • Stunning rainbow effect — creates beautiful colored light patterns indoors when the sun hits it. • Static cling makes application easy (no adhesive mess) and allows for repositioning. • Good length (157 inches) covers multiple windows or a large section. • Adds a fun, artistic touch to bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, or entryways. • Cons: • Not fully opaque — it filters light and adds privacy during the day but you can still see shapes through it at night with indoor lights on. • Can be tricky to apply perfectly without small bubbles or wrinkles on the first try. I applied it to a small kitchen window and a bathroom window. During the day it looks gorgeous with the sunlight creating rainbow patterns on the walls and floors. It definitely softens harsh direct light and gives some daytime privacy. The static cling held up well after a couple of weeks. I recommend this rainbow window film for anyone wanting an affordable, removable way to add color and style to windows. It’s especially nice for renters or seasonal decor.

Pretty and easy to install
This roll of privacy film is pretty. I like the floral pattern and that they give you plenty, so you can cover a good amount of glass. It's nice when multiple windows near each other look the same. Trying to match patterns later is a pain. It has a nice thickness and feels sturdy and like you can easily remove and reapply this a few times without tearing. That's always nice. Application is super easy - just clean the surface, wet it, and apply. The water layer floats it a tiny bit so you can wiggle things. Then you just press out bubbles and you're done. The application tool comes inside the tube it's rolled on, and the directions are rolled in too, so the package has everything you need. The only caveat is that when you're close to the window it's on or you're really backlit (nighttime when you're lit inside and it's dark outside), this stuff isn't as private as we would've liked. It works better from far away - as you can see in the pic. When we used it on a glass door to a bedroom for privacy, it only really worked some of the time. Otherwise it let a bit too much be seen. That's the only reason this lost a star. If you're using it for exterior windows in bigger rooms, it'll probably fine. But if you're in a small room, especially one that's brightly lit relative to its surroundings.....look for something with more coverage.
