We need more of these! My daughter no longer feels awkward when she is not wearing the same colour hat in her lesson. She feels stigmatised because she has a lot of hair and the usual hats do not fit on her head. It stays on, it is comfortable to wear. It is easy to get on and off. Great seal and it is fit for purpose. It is quite thick as well so does not rip easily. It comes in great colours too that match the colours of the swimming grades. Perfect.

Remember those tight swimming caps that took 20 efforts to get on then they hurt your head? The ones that your long hair couldn’t fit into. The ones that ripped hair out on removal? Fear no more! This is soooooo comfortable to wear. It went on first time so easily and instantly covered my long hair (I used a hair tie to make a ponytail first). The “extra” bit you can move to wear you want it to sit like the top or back of your head. I thought it might look weird but it didn’t. It doesn’t squeeze your head and is so easy to take off and doesn’t damage you hair. It’s waterproof too so yay! Cannot recommend enough. Plus it dries sooo fast after taking it off. Even if you don’t have long hair and hate the tight swimming caps from hell get one of these! I got the pink and it’s really lovely.

I had orered for Large. I dont know how the it turned to Extra Large at dispatch. This is my second order for my daugter.Im happy so far with what iI bought. ealier It keeps the hair dry and is not to harsh on my head.

Not bad. Size is good only issue is the amount of water that gets in when swimming - eventually swimming cap will slide off in the pool

I ordered the black xl and it’s perfect. I went swimming and I have very curly full braids on at the moment and it stayed in the cap the whole time and it didnt get wet at all. I even swam in the deep end several times and it stayed on. I recommend for black people with extensions or locs planning to go swimming.

I bout the L size. It's tight around the head which I expected but has plenty of room for more hair. It was maybe a little too big for my hair but I figured the edges are tight so shouldn't let any water in. I made sure the air was squeezed out and my ears were inside the hat. No spaces at all. But I started swimming and I could hear the water pouring in. After every length of the pool I had to stop and lift the hat at the edges to let the water pour back out. My hair was soaked. It was as wet as if I'd not worn a hat and went underwater. I tried it a couple of times on different swim sessions and it kept leaking in. So it didn't protect my hair at all. I'm returning mine because it just doesn't keep my hair dry and I needed it for that exact reason and because when you buy a swim hat, you expect it will protect your hair from water. If it can't do that then it isn't doing it's job. Some of the reviews gave it 5 stars but then said water does leak in still, then why give it 5 stars? It's not doing what it's meant to do!

Really good size, excellent for my long braid extensions. Keeps my hair dry, I don't use it for underwater swimming, but for general swimming. Really durable, the one I had before I used it consistently every week for about 3 years before needing to replace it. It is stretchy but too much, just right.

Cogí este gorro porque tengo el pelo largo y me cuesta que quepa con comodidad en los gorros normales. Pero el gorro de talla XXL es demasiado grande para mi, es enorme. Me sobra muchísimo. Creo que es ideal para gente que tenga el pelo muy muy largo o para pelos afro largos. Aun teniendo tanto espacio dentro hay que recoger el pelo para poder colocarlo correctamente. Con el pelo suelto es complicadísimo colocárselo. En esto es igual que cualquier otro gorro de natación. Sin embargo tengo otro gorro de esta misma marca de talla XL que es mucho mejor de tamaño. Es casi para cualquier melena media. La calidad del gorro se ve excepcional. Es algo más gordo que los gorros normales y se ve muy resistente. El ajuste a la cabeza es perfecto, quedando las orejas tapadas y cubriendo totalmente el pelo tanto por la frente como por la parte de atrás. En estos momentos no he podido probarlo en la piscina porque estoy lesionada pero, viendo como ajusta el gorro, me da la sensación de que va a proteger bastante del agua y si entra, será poca. En cuanto comience de nuevo a nadar actualizaré mi reseña indicándolo. De momento le doy 5 estrellas porque me parece un gorro de muy buena calidad y protege mucho más que otros.

This was a bit larger than I wanted on the inside, HOWEVER... if I still had very long hair this would be amazing. Marge Simpson could put her beehive in this with room to spare. It isn't completely water proof if you go diving. IF you swim mostly on the surface or only dip under now and then, you should be fine. I still advise you wear ear plugs while wearing this. Water can seep in. Also, if you have a large head, there's room to stretch plenty. But if your head it small, it still conforms OK. But if you do have a small head, I hope you have lots of thick hair. This made of an almost rose petal soft silicone (though about three times as thick as a rose petal) in a velvety black. It has no structure, and makes a funny shape on your head if you don't have enough hair. It's not a problem for swimming, but it is not a sleek silhouette if you don't have enough hair. Read the fine print and use some finely grained starch as a liner (after you wash and dry) for the interior. If you don't, it will stick to everything and be difficult to put on. It dries out very nicely, as the water just wipes off.
