So far love Reolink
We found a few doorbell cameras. This seems to be one of the best that I’ve used so far. In our business, we ended up installing the Reolink camera system between the app and the NVR. I’ve loved the functionality and how it integrated with my phone so I decided to try the doorbell. Camera works just as well. It’s another added camera to the app which is a great feature you don’t need something separate. Anyone looking to add a doorbell camera there’s two styles one with a battery and one that’s hardwired I suggest going with the battery because it can also be hardwired to keep the battery charged what you gain with that is my Wi-Fi is on battery back up so if you lose power in the house, my doorbell camera, and my Wi-Fi are still connected. If you use hardwire only your doorbell will not work.

Great doorbell camera with local storage capabilities!
Very good doorbell! Very easy to program with the app AND, you can store on a 256GB micro SD card. You don't have to subscribe to a cloud provider to store videos. I purchased an extender so the camera would be flush with the brick wall.Great picture quality, excellent motion detection, great price, great Wi-Fi connectivity, and customizable (I'm using my old fashion mechanical chimes already in the house). Overall, I highly recommend this doorbell.

Battery creates too many compromises
I wanted to like it but I realized quickly that just by being the battery powered version there are lot of compromises. No ONVIF for integrating with other home automation systems. No continuous recording, and the battery constantly goes dead even though I had it hardwired to my doorbell transformer that’s providing 19v even while the doorbell is connected. I had to pull it off the wall several times to charge via USB-C, usually to 80% or so, then reconnect it and it’ll charge the rest of the way itself to 100% and then over the course of days drain back down to 0% again. Every car that passes uses battery even if you have the detection zone set to ignore them. Motion detection also didn’t work very well. It would notice my mailman 50% of the time despite the fact that my mailbox is literally next to the doorbell, and often it would record events once the person is already walking away. Video quality is good however so I’ll give it that.I replaced it with the hardwired non-battery wi-fi version and it seems to be a massive improvement in stability and reliability as well as having some of the more advanced features I wanted.Edit: Reolink contacted me to apologize for my poor experience with the device and offered to give me a $15 refund (in addition to the return) for my trouble. I found that to be a nice gesture. So while this device might not work for everyone's situation, I can at least say that their support is proactive and that this is a good company to do business with.

Poor customer support
Worked for about 2 months then camera stopped working. Customer service seems bent on making sure they don't need to replace it. Going round and round. Things like are you sure it is charged, do this do that. I have been an electrical and mechanical engineer for over 50 years. I can trouble shoot anything. This unit is dead but I am going on two weeks tiring to convince them it is dead.

Not better than Ring, but ok. (Install issues below))
IMO, it's not better than Ring and the interface is not as simple, but it works. Contrary to many reviews, setup was HORRIBLE but that's mainly due to the internet service provider (ISP) you are using and the firewalls that block communication. Long story short, you may have to connect your phone to the same wifi network for initial set up, and half way through (when it fails to connect to device) you have to DISCONNECT phone from wifi and finish the set up using phone data. After that, setup and installation was smooth but turned a 15m process into 1.5hrs with troubleshooting. For WIRELESS (not WiFi model which is wired), there was ZERO information on how to hard reset to restart the setup so here it goes. There is no reset button and the power button functions as the power AND hard reset. Long press (5 sec) to turn on doorbell camera and while ON, press the power button 3 consecutive times to force a reset. I had to do this because it "connected successfully" to the internet/modem but failed the last step when connecting to the app/device. You CAN'T fix this issue unless you hard reset and redo the setup with the steps mentioned above. I could have saved myself a hr or so had they put this in the instructions pamphlet or simply added a reset button like every other device in the world.

Good for un-wired installation
Works fine, will probably need charging every two weeks if run on battery. Your mileage will vary.

One of the Best Doorbell Cameras Available
Really impressed with this Reolink doorbell camera so far. It’s one of the best options I’ve found no subscription required, supports SD card storage, delivers clear video, and was easy to install. Most importantly, it connected to my WiFi without any issues. I have no complaints and definitely plan to purchase more Reolink products in the future.
