Its not useful as either an aesthetic piece or a pc fan. The app is barebones, the fan speed is uncontrollable (always at full speed), uploading your own video xan be a hit or miss, the wifi connection is very spotty, and as for the image/video itself?Its skewed by 30 degrees! I "fixed" this by rotating my videos. May seem silly until you experience it first hand. Its unnacceptable. 30 whole degrees. Just enough to make you pull yout hair out. Dont buy this until they release a newet version. Even the app is bare bones and minimal settings you can adjust.Again, dont buy!

The media could not be loaded. The noise other people talk about wasn't an issue for me as the case I have muffles it entirely. The image is lower resolution than I expected, but works fine.2 Issues I have with this: Software and ConnectionSoftware: You have to allow a sketchy app to be installed on your phone that you download via a website (it isn't on the play store, which wouldn't be hard to do, heck, I even published an app as a joke once). The app itself is full of Chinese writing and is at best cumbersome and seems like it was developed by a high school student working on an introductory school project. Also, you are forced to use your phone, which can suck when loading content as you have to hunt for the images or videos. This could've been done way better. Oh and their website sucks to navigate too! The download link was embedded into the pdf of the manual.Connection: Really!? This goes into a computer and you couldn't have been bothered to have at least a USB connection? This device is loaded via its own WiFi SSID, which means that the phone you were forced to use must be disconnected and you must ensure it doesn't lose its mind when it finds no internet in the fan you connected. This is a hassle and really limits the accessibility of the device. I can't fathom why they went with WiFi instead of Bluetooth. If it was for speed then I'm mystified as the transfer rate was abysmal over its WiFi.Since the software is terrible the company should have provided some sort of API or design document on their website so that a competent programmer could at least do better for themselves (or others if they publish it on GitHub). I couldn't be bothered to spend the time reverse engineering it, but if you bought this an did so yourself, please leave a review with a link to the info!

The media could not be loaded. I used this fan for a project it’s a bit loud I recommend taking off the black cover it reduces drag on the fan and makes the image perfectly clear overall it’s decent quality

Item works as described but had to use an apple device to get it to work maybe it hates new phones and as for wifi range it can be spotty unless one knows how to use a booster for itProbably a good alternative for the one that uses lcd screens if the pc has a resource problem. I tried lcd fans and they often error out and claim that all resources were used but with this one the resources are saved into the fans internal memory where all it requires is adequate power from the fan header.Would buy more if the price dropped as if I had to buy three of these they would cost more than the lcd fansAnother down side about the ones with the lcd screen is that they only put it between the fan whereas on the holofan it's a bigger image

Installed fan as directed in phone app (yes, it's only available for download on your phone). In the downloaded instructions, you have to download the Spin3D app (it's not available on the Android Play Store, only through the downloaded app. Once installed, it requests you to connect to the HOLO network. However, that network does not appear in my listing of available networks. However, it is listed in Androids 'Manage Networks' selection as a 'hidden app'. I can remove the hidden selection thinking the network would appear in the listing but it does not, no matter what I do to WI-FI. BTW, HOLO has a password that is not shown in any instructions anywhere. It is 'password'.As far as this product is concerned, do not buy it. It does not perform as advertised and is a waste of money. I'm returning mine for a refund.

It can push any static pressure, if i hold my hand on the outside of the case it bogs down so much the image goes away.And speaking of image, unless the fan is spinning at 70 percent of full speed, the image wont turn on.It automatically turns off the image when the rpms dip, so essentially you have to have it on full blast, and its loud.The app is a joke, cant upload gifs without jumping through hoops, choosing which image you wanna display is like pulling teeth because the app automatically names each image a random string of characters. And when you trial and error pick images, its a 50/50 shot itll just revert back to the default image, so you have to repeatedly select the image you want, and wait for it to stick.Really cool concept, and the fan itself feels high quality, but the image is just a gimmick

Do not buy! This fan has zero programming available.

Buen producto, cumple mis expectativas. No pongo 5 estrellas porque es muy ruidoso, y es porque necesita girar muy rápido para una buena imagen. Es una resolución BAJA, pero esperable para el uso.
