These little things are quite useful! I honestly do not know what they are SUPPOSED to be for, but I used one of these, basically, as a water cooling heat exchanger for a GPU, trying to go a bit cheaper on my backup PC build - which worked like a charm! Keeps the GPU cooler (from normal 40 Celsius to about 28-30 Celsius on idle). Of course, I used a little bracket to attach it, and I attached paste to it for enhanced heat transfer. Totally worth it!!!

This is a good little aluminum water block. I was using it to test cooling capabilities of two thermoelectric coolers and it transfers the heat from the water to chill it nicely! Now if the TEC was just more efficient I would be a happy camper!. the 40mm by 80mm size was perfect to fit two TECs side by side with a little thermal paste it was a great connection. To test how flat the surface was I took a piece of glass and laid it down on it. The surface was so flat you could feel the suction it created by such a uniform surface. Great product!

I had to make my own bracket to screw this down, but with that and a little arctic silver my old nvidia chipset doesn't burn me when I touch it anymore. Adapting a 1/2" cooling solution to port off the flow for this proved challenging but with a couple of 7.2mm G1/4 barbs two Y connectors and a valve, I was able to make an adjustable flow solution.

Couldnt expect anything better. smooth faces, solid block. If you expect anything more, you will be upset, but if you expect a water block, no way you'll be let down.

Almost a single piece of metal. Nice radiator for water cooled gadgets and has many other uses.

Great product, I used it with PVC piping that it’s often bought with and it’s not leaky at all. It seems like the water runs through the entire inside of the heat sink and the aluminum comes up to whatever temperature you want it to be pretty fast.

Works very well! Surprised at the heat transfer efficiency! I bought more after being thoroughly impressed with the first purchase :)Works as advertised.

arrived on time and transfers heat quite well. -1 star because I wound up having to insulate it with plaster.
