Obscene pricing and profiteering. Effectively costs about ÂŁ2 for every time you vacuum.
It's a shame that Bosch (and the whole industry) has adapted a strategy where a standard consumer grade product would not work with professional grade battery. Their professional grade battery ( sold under ProCore brand) are much better in terms of cycle life and actually cost less than the 'Power For All' batteries made for normal consumers. My 6Ah 'Power For All' battery was definitely better than the puny 2.5Ah battery which came with the vacuum cleaner, but only lasted 1 year. It works out to about ÂŁ2.0 for every time I vacuum my house, which is unacceptably high. I would rather live with the inconvenience of the cable and use a corded one.
