SLICK
Really slick! Work great! I They are hard to hold on to, I dropped one about three times trying to put it on. It fell off about 30 minutes later. I'm sure it picked up too much dust on the adhesive. I may super glue it on later.

BIG difference between Type-s & Type-c
Exactly what I wanted! Super easy low friction glide and very low initial friction. There’s a VERY BIG difference between the type-s and type-c. I initially got the type-c thinking it would provide me a reasonable upgrade in glide and low friction from the standard PTFE skates that came with my mouse, but I was extremely disappointed. Type-c did not feel like what I expected glass skates to feel like. Felt practically the exact same as my original PTFE skates, which made me very upset. Type-c definitely did not provide anywhere close to that ultras smooth low friction experience I was looking for. So decided why not try type-s to see if there is actually a decent difference (at this point I was very skeptical since I got completely let down the first time) and there absolutely is. If you’re looking for glass skates to give you that effortless glide and ice skating feeling, then definitely go with type-s and don’t even bother with type-c. Type-s definitely give you that low friction hyper smooth feeling you’d expect from glass skates. Edit: Very disappointed after using for only a few days and they slowed down considerably… Went for ultra low friction ice like glide, to being noticeably slower, slow enough to the point where it’s literally impossible to use them with the pad I purchased them for. I liked using them with my a very slow mouse pad because the combo of the low friction glass skates with the high friction mousepad gave me the exact feeling I was looking for. Unfortunately just after a few days of use, I can no longer use them with that pad because of how much the glass skates slowed down. I know for a fact it’s the skates that slowed down because I just replaced them with the other new ones I hadn’t used yet, and they felt just as good as new on the same pad with the ultra low friction, just for them to slow down again after just a few days of use. I have looked online and now learned that glass skates wear and lose their ultra low friction extremely fast and theirs practically nothing you can do about it, which is why most people steer clear of glass skates all together. I guess I’ve learned my lesson

Type S used on G502 proteus
Like another commenter on here these were a bit TOO smooth for office work. I split the pack to cover two mice for the contact points. So smooth the mouse moved on very slight inclines and double clicks. Not for everyone, I switched up for type C and am much happier though do miss the smoothness a bit.

Better for sure.
Definitely better then the default skates I had on my mouse.

Just as good as the original full glass pads
I bought the Type-S and I’m using these on the Steelseries Aerox 5 since they discontinued the original full glass pads. If you’re coming from the full glass skates that and you’re concerned about the dots being too small, not full contact, or whatever else, it’s not that big a difference. Me personally, the original ones only ever made contact on the outer edges (judging by the scratch marks), leaving a pristine center. Just make sure to put them in the corners so the mouse doesn’t tip over and they’ll function like normal. If you need to reposition them, peel them off slowly with something thin, like a blade, and reapply them. The adhesive shouldn’t suffer any major problems unless you’re doing it over and over. If you’re also buying the S dots, they will glide with no problems. They’ll glide with so little problem, a bend in the cable will slowly move the mouse, so keep an eye on that.

Buttery smooth
Mouse slides like butter or just an air hockey table. Hard to hold my mouse in one spot without micro movements so keep that in mind when you buy it

There is such thing as too smooth. Type C for me.
Big fan of these replacement skates. Having tried both types, I find Type C to be my personal favorite, as the extra control is more familiar to the sub-par skates I've been using for the last two decades. That being said, the Type S skates are wonderfully smooth... perhaps to a fault. When I went back to regular desk work I found my mouse sliding around and dragging things if I wasn't paying attention. After getting fed up with that, I switched to the Type C skates and I have not had a mis-click yet (well, outside of games). I do miss the extremely smooth feeling of Type S though, it was extremely satisfying.

Type S for MOBA and RTS, Type C for FPS
The Type-S skates are GREAT for quick movements and flicks. They help a lot with games such as League of Legends, World of Warcraft, etc. With that being said, you'll notice I didn't mention any FPS games. This is because if you play at the same sensitivity you're already used to in games with these skates, trust me, you will have almost no stopping power or consistency with recoil control; the tension and force required to keep the mouse relatively still when aiming is more than enough to move the mouse around in a jerky, unintentional manner. I just ordered the Type C skates to see if they're better, and if they're not, I will 1000% be returning them. But, Amazon's got my money for good on the Type S skates because I threw out the packaging.

I originally bought some jade skates but they seemed to wear out extremely fast so my mouse was dragging but these so far have been excellent, smooth glide and still have excellent tracking on a carbon fibre pad from attack shark. They're expensive but seems to be the best option for glide dot skates at the moment.

Très bon patins, choisissez bien le type de patins que vous voulez. Qualitatif certes mais un poil cher
