Is this genuine makita battery?

No not a genuine makita battery. But directed hooked up to my makita drill and impact driver

My battery quit working i need service. Where is contact info?

These are after-market items so if you don’t have any paperwork that has that information I doubt you will be able to get a replacement. Once the battery quits taking charge, it is not repairable.

Is this battery compatible with Makita 18v "star" tools like the new subcompact brushless (BL) motor tools?

Yes, I bought this battery and it is 10 times better than the original. Lasts many times longer between charges. LED display for remaining % of charge. This is a spectacular deal. Don't worry; BUY THIS BATTERY!
