Literally cut to size, peel and stick and job done; does exactly what it should, very pleased with purchase.

The Stove Cement on log burner kept cracking and falling out, so this time, the stove cement was put in first and then tightly wrapped with this glass fibre rope. The adhesion was not great to begin with but then when it did stick (after it peeled off a few times and i stuck it back), it did a great job and now I am really pleased. I was surprised how short it was (shouldn't have been since the description is accurate).... overall, good purchase and does the job well.

Item arrived on time and in good condition, looks ideal for the job.

Brilliant stuff, no more plugging stove collar with brittle cement, use this and lasts for years and is neater.

The product was used to replace glass sealing on stoves.

I got this to use when I serviced my Stovax inset Stockton 7 log burner , I bought 2 of these thinking I could use one this year and save the other until next service, just as well that I did because 1 mtr is not quite long enough, it is around 5 inches shorter than needed so I used 1 length the cut 5 inches off of the other one and stuck that on , job done and I shall save the rest for next time I just need to remember to order another 1 mtr for next time. I after cleaning the old seal from my log burner this did seem to stick in place o.k so should do the job fine.

Item did not arrive as quickly as hoped.It is a difficult item to find online and the length wasn’t quite long enough for my application.I would buy again if I had to.
