Compression Packing Cubes Travel Luggage-Organizer Set Packs More in Less Space

I stumbled into the world of packing cubes several months ago and fell in love with the idea of organizing my packing for trips. So I embarked on a journey of reading many, many reviews and researching the best features. I purchased several different styles and materials and finally landed on the Coltant compression cubes. These are hands down the best cubes that I’ve found. The best feature I like is the sturdiness of the Coltant cubes. Some of the other styles I tried were super flimsy, parachute-type material and I didn’t care for them at all. I found that packing is much easier if the material has more substance to it. Some reviewers made comments that heavier weight cubes added too much weight to their overall packing but I totally disagree with that. I was happy to find that the minimal added weight was not enough to make a negative difference at all. Plus using the cubes seems to encourage me to be more frugal and pack even lighter. It’s changing my thinking towards how to pack smarter. The other really great feature is the zippers. These are heavy duty, high quality zippers that can withstand a lot of tugging and pulling. This is a super important feature with this type of product. The compression zipper feature is amazing. My husband and I love how easy this makes it for packing for trips. We purchased 4 sets: one for each of us and one each for our adult kids. Having different colors for couples to use also makes it easy to quickly find exactly what you’re looking for. These are a great product and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to optimize their travel.

I spend a lot of time traveling for work and this set helps me to being more AND be more organized. The bags are lightweight so I don’t have to worry about adding too much weight when using them - but they do help make a lot more space which results in a heavier bag (more clothes!). The shoe bag might be my favorite part, it’s much classier than the plastic grocery bags I I’ve used in the past. I traveled with these bags for two weeks to multiple locations, and I never had a problem packing and repacking. The bags made it easy to filter through my suitcase to find my swimsuits when needed. I don’t see myself having any issues with durability or longevity, especially at this price point. A couple reviews complained that the zipper doesn’t open all the way around, but I don’t see an issue with that. In fact, I think it prevented me from overstuffing the bag which would have led to difficulty closing the compression zipper. I actually used the largest bag on a day trip to the beach, so I’m glad it has handles. One thing I would change - the handles are both located on the same side of the zipper. I wish the two handles were on opposite sites of the zipper so I could use them to carry the bag even if it’s a little bit open.

These are the first packing cubes I have purchased or used, and was very happy with these! They hold quite a lot, and compress very nicely. The overall construction seems to be very good and durable, and I will update once I have more opportunities to assess. It was very useful following the suggested instructions on how to best zip the compression zipper to prevent any tearing. These were very helpful in packing all my necessities to fit in a personal carry on bag for a recent trip. I was impressed with the construction, capacity, and the fact that they also come packaged in a nice bag that is useful as a storage bag to keep them dust free between uses.

First time using packing cubes. GREAT for condensing fluffy, bulky items, as well as containing small items. Used them for winder coats, snow pants and fleece layers and they were wonderful. Can't compare these to others, because these are the only ones we have tried, but the quality seems great. Zippers are substantial. After packing, I just zipped using one finger running along in front of the zipper to keep the fabric from getting caught. Overstuffed by using body weight to press them closed and they were great. Not great for everything - which is why 4 stars instead of 5. That is not a condemnation of this particular product - it is about packing cubes in general. Once you pack and zip these bags, the shape is pretty well set and you limited in how much you can maneuver them inside your luggage. Some items, like Jeans and t-shirts for example, are better just packed without the cubes. These cubes won't condense them much more than you can do without and leaving them out of the cubes allows more maneuverability to make best use of luggage space.

Just used these for the first time. The cubes are well made with sturdy zippers. I was able to put a blouse, cami, tunic, blazer, 3 pairs of dress pants and a dress in the largest cube and there was still room to spare. It was easy to close the 2nd zipper that creates the compression. It fit easily into my suitcase. I later used the cube to carry an extra outfit to the wedding I attended so I could wear a different outfit to the reception. I was much handier to use the cube than dragging the suitcase along. Very pleased. Would recommend.

I love the size of all the packing cubes. They are large and roomy and do get smaller when they are compressed. Though the do not get a small as I thought but still small enough to make a difference, allows you to overpack! There’s enough of them for packing clothes for a week and a half maybe even longer. The shoe bag is also large you could fit two shoes in there, like a pair of Keds plus flats. The material is very thick and feels very well made, same for the zippers. The color you see is what you get. This is a great purchase for people who travel a lot or like to over pack. I would highly recommend them!

I love these and bought two sets. They hold a decent amount in them. The compression zipper is a great feature too. The mesh panel is an added bonus. I would definitely buy these again. Update: I still love these. They have been incredible during my trips. They definitely allowed me the organization that I needed and provided me with extra space. I ordered two sets. I used the larger bags for my checked luggage and the smallest one from each set for my carry on. The shoe bag was better used as a laundry bag during my travels and one of the medium bags was perfect for all the lose items I was packing, like toiletries.

I needed something to help organize my carry-on and wow do these deliver! Not only do they help with organization, they also compress my clothing so I am able to pack more in my carry-on and still have room for extras! So far, they seem very durable and have have worked well for my needs.
