I bought this not to use on my car wing mirrors or windows as some do (so can’t comment on how well it works when placed on those). I bought this because our Audi reversing camera is located in such a daft place, as soon as the car is driven, the camera gets caked in dirt pretty much straight away unless it’s a dry, sunny day, with clean roads (which doesn’t happen a lot in the UK to be fair). So, I tried this stuff. I made sure the car was totally clean and used a piece of kitchen roll to put a decent amount of the liquid on, dabbing and rubbing it onto the reversing camera. I waited a few hours and repeated this for a second time. I was pretty impressed with the results to be honest. Does it keep the camera totally clean - No. But, it definitely deflects some of the lighter muck that would normally cause smears and make the camera unusable. It’s most useful in the rain, as the water droplets seem to run off the camera instead of sitting there and blocking my view. The other plus side is that the amount I’m using, this bottle will last a lifetime… or several lifetimes 😂 I am so impressed that I may just try putting it on wing mirrors etc too. 👍 Overall, if you’re expecting a miracle, you’ll probably be a bit disappointed. But if you have realistic expectations and ensure your car is squeaky clean before applying several coats, this may definitely be well worth your time and money 🤓

Brilliant glass protector! 😀 Simple to apply, a couple of coats. Gives great water repellency. Wipers glide over the windscreen but also great for use on the rear screen and side windows.

I have used screen coatings before and they have been OK. You can see it with the rain on the motorways running up the screen. Used the Turtle-wax and fantastic results. Easy to apply and only takes a few minutes. Screen is clear and sharp with no hazing or other issue. Rained over night and the screen was not only clear bur clean with no marks apart from the birds leaving there mark on the screen. Great just cleaned the screen but sprayed it with the hose and it washed away. By the time and had but the hose back the screen was dry and again no marks. Just treated my wife's car window front and back and they sparkle. Would definitely recommend

Repels water great with a light coat

I brought this to use on my wing mirrors, back window and front side windows. Works well and the rain just rolls away and off the windows and glass. Brilliant product and easy to apply.

I have to start by saying that I am a Turtlewax fan. I do use their car wax and washes and value the months of shine they give my car so when I saw Clearvue, I knew it was likely to do the same kind of job as the car washes and wax's would and I have not been disappointed. I was expecting rain to kind of fall away in streams with this product but what I get is water being held in very tiny droplets against my window and giving my a magical view. My rear window doesn't have wipers by the way. I can drive with greater confidence. Don't know what it does to the front but my windscreen wiper usage hasn't changed and I get no smears. No need to demist side mirrors any more. This takes care of it. I worthwhile product even though it costs £2 more than Rain-X which I haven't tried to this date. I do not have a reason for giving this 4 stars. I am not saying it is brilliant. I just cannot find any faults.

Aye this worked a treat at first, perfect. After a week the brand new, previously perfect Bosch aero twin wiper blades started juddering across the screen, not settling back to their native position and being incredibly noisy. Reapplied the turtle wax clearvue and they were better but still not as good as without. I have now stopped using this product as it’s not worth the hassle of reapplying on a weekly basis and the loss of effectiveness it causes to wipers in light showers at low speeds. It’s been nearly a month and my windscreen is nearly back to normal in terms of wiper blades not juddering. It’s a shame, it was so nearly a good product. If you are constantly driving at 40+ then it’s worth a go. If you do a moderate amount of driving at below 40 then I wouldn’t touch it with somebody else’s barge pole, let alone your own.
