Normally, I don't leave reviews on products, but this one is a must for those considering buying this phone. I don't understand how it has 3 stars, though I can say with absolute certainty that this is the best purchase I have made by far this year. I've never seen a childhood toy turn into a phone and stand out boldly amongst the vast modern phones these days in the same old, boring minimalist palettes of blacks, whites, and grays. This phone is small, simple, stylish and serves its purpose of what a phone should've always been; calling and texting people, along with other basic features you would expect in every phone (except this one has detoxing reminders and meditation, which makes purchasing this even worth it!!) The reason why I bought this is because I had a screen and music addiction everywhere I went and drove which isn't safe. There was also data protection to consider, eye health and sleep concerns, and interestingly, screen light, which I feel contributes to screen addiction upon covering some research (my hypothesis, though!) Now, I actually listen to the radio again while driving, connecting and living with intention without constantly craving dopamine hits from notifications! :D I think why so many reviewers claim they had a bad experience connecting to the network was because their carrier told them so. The compatibility and connectivity have been AWESOME as far as I can tell. My carrier nearly let me down, too, until I transferred sim cards online, and boom! (They were gonna charge me $25 which is INSANE before I thought outside the box). As a recent graduate whose coursework involved heavy screentime, my plan this Summer was to digitally detox from my smartphone, and now that I've bought this one, I don't see myself turning away from it in the near future. Do yourself a favor, and buy this version before they run out. You deserve to protect your time, your energy and a little bit of fun into your life.

It works and I am so happy!! Okay, first I want to say that I bought it and used the IMEI on the box once it was delivered to see if it would work on my carrier (Mint) and another carrier I was considering switching to (Tello), both of which utilize T-Mobile towers. Both of their compatibility checkers said that it would not work, but I took the chance and opened the box, inserted my current SIM (Mint), and it worked no problem!! I can get and make calls and send and receive texts! There is no WIFI, which is a bit of a bummer regarding signal and WIFI calling options, but there is Bluetooth (which I haven’t tried yet). My phone came new in box with all the amazing accessories to play with (sooo much fun!!!). Like other reviewers, I also struggled with the black screen of death when first trying to turn it on out of the box and I thought maybe I got a bum one like other reviewers had shared, but then I realized that the battery (which is also pink) was outside the phone and in the box (some assembly required lol). Once I popped that in, the phone powered on no problem!! I don’t know about carriers outside of T-Mobile or those who use T-Mobile towers, but given the return policy, I would say it is worth a try because the joy of this phone (and the price) is amazing. I am so glad I took a chance despite the reviews. Also side note it has FM radio which is kind of fun and the speakers on the phone are really not that bad.

Good few problems, the lip of the lid is at an awkward angle to open so you end up bending the hinge very quickly. The international version is supposed to have Bluetooth, it doesn't. Hotspot also doesn't work as advertised, even on multiple carriers. Battery life drops off very quickly and won't last a day with minimal use after a few weeks. This thing is also riddled with software and hardware bugs to the point that after a week the camera and flashlight stopped working. Also, Nokia just pulled out of the US market, so don't expect much support after the next year or so. Don't waste your money.

I was a little nervous about ordering this phone after reading some of the negative reviews, but I think many of those reviews are from people who did not understand the network compatibility before buying it. This is the international version, so being “unlocked” does not mean it will work with every U.S. carrier. I bought a Metro by T-Mobile SIM card from Walmart, activated it online, and have had no issues at all. Metro uses T-Mobile’s network, which supports the LTE bands this phone needs better than most other U.S. carriers. Other carriers may reject the phone’s IMEI or require network bands and certifications that this model does not support, so it is important to check compatibility before assuming the phone is defective. My phone arrived unopened, clean, and with all of the accessories included. Everything looked brand new and exactly as expected. Once I installed and activated the Metro SIM card, the phone worked without any problems. The phone itself is adorable and perfect for basic calls and texts. I love the nostalgic design and all the cute Barbie details. If you are planning to use this phone in the United States, I recommend getting a Metro by T-Mobile SIM card like I did. Just understand the network requirements before purchasing, and you will likely have a much better experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely love this phone! My mom and I both bought the HMD Barbie flip phone, and we absolutely love it! We've had our phones for almost two months now, and they've been working perfectly with no issues. I noticed some reviews saying people had trouble getting service on the phone, but that wasn't our experience at all. We took both phones to Metro by T-Mobile, and they activated them quickly with no problems. Everything works exactly as it should. One of my favorite things about this phone is how much attention it gets. Everywhere I go, people stop me to ask about it because they think it's just a toy or a fake phone! They're always surprised when I tell them it's a real, fully functional cell phone. If you're thinking about buying this phone, don't let the negative reviews scare you. Our experience has been great from day one. It's cute, fun, nostalgic, and works just as expected. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.

Voy a dejar de usar el iPhone por qué cada 5 minutos lo tomo, quiero un cambio radical y me puse a investigar y encontré este celular que realmente es para regresar a mi antiguo ser. Soy Movistar y le quedo el sim. La caja es hermosa !!!! Todo lo es jaja
