This product is an oversized bean bag chair with a base as large as 5 ft in circumference once all the beans have decompressed and stretched out. It is heavy and strong, but the outer cover is extremely soft and comfortable.The bold gray color of the cover goes well with lots of different dark room motifs. We have put it in a room with a dark green carpet as well as one with a gray carpet and it just seems to fit in wherever we put it. It is comfortable enough for two people and one small person could lay down flat on it and take a nap. Because it is relatively formless, it can be shoved into a corner or compressed into a smaller space if needed, or it can take up much of the floor in front of a TV or on a bedroom floor for example. This is a really high quality bean bag chair and I almost want to come up with another name for it because when you think bean bag chairs you think of the little lightweight flimsy bags that you buy a department stores. But this is much better, a true piece of furniture!

Even though it's not filled with your sypical styrofoam pellets, I'm still calling it a beanbag because I don't know what else it'd be referred to as! It's filled with block & triangle sizes of foam that come compressed in a plastic bag. The cover is SUPER soft & sooooooo cozy to lay on. And believe it or not, this isn't difficult to get out of once you're laying in/on it. Now for the reason why I gave it four instead of five stars. The cover had a strong chemical odor to it as soon as I took it out of the packaging. I was worried the odor would penetrate my clothes after laying on it, so I unzipped it, threw it in the wash with a LOT of scent booster. It did wash up beautifully, but much to my disappointment, that chemical smell was still present. It wasn't as strong as it was prior to washing it, but now it smells like Downy Citrus Sunrise with a hint of chemical smell. Because of this, I haven't decided it I'm going to wash it again or not or just give the whole thing away, because I don't want our family room taking on that chemical odor.

This char is amazing. I'm in love with the material. It is incredibly soft. Perfect for reading, watching TV, or just lounging around.
