Couldn't be more pleased
Bought for my mother who lives alone, and subscribed to fall detection. I was initially concerned about connectivity within her house but have had no problems. The device seems to detect falls ok, and has had an about 3 false alarms in a month, but those can be reset by pushing the button on the watch for a few seconds. I would rather have it over sensitive than miss a fall. The phone operators who answer the device couldn't be better. Clear and easy to hear when testing, which is encouraged by the company. The device determines position using WiFi, but does not use WiFi for it to make calls. App works great so I can see whats going on, and if an alert is triggered.Only downside is battery life is 36 hours, and requires charging daily. If your loved one wears this at night and isn't in the habit of wearing an Apple Watch or something like it, it will be hard to get into the habit of charging during the day. It does give a low power warning, I wish it gave a "fully charged" beep instead of only a light but that really is my only complaint.

blinking blue light
I did not order here. I ordered the kit that has the watch and lanyard. that blue light flashing and even at night. As I understood it.. it is trying to find a cell tower. Who wants a flashing light at bedtime, or even during the day. Also, sometimes the sound is so low during testing.. I can barely hear it.. and I have good hearing.very disappointed.. so I only wear it in the shower . considering returning but I find that most alert systems are cell tower . also, not sure cellular is safe.. as some I have have know it does not work for their bodies.so where is the affordable, safe medical alert?? I would like to know.
