I have a huge pigeon problem and all the yucky stuff they leave all over the walks and windows. I got this bird trap so I could humanely rid my property of them. The trap arrived on schedule and was very easy to setup. It works as advertised and is large enough to trap several pigeons at one time. It is easy to get the captured birds out and to release them FAR away.

Of course if a large bird, like the size of a chicken, has to duck it's head down too much to enter this cage, it likely won't try. Of course if one bird sees another one get trapped in the cafe, they'll learn not to go in. I bought this hoping I could capture a couple wild chickens on my property: it worked for one, but the other one wouldn't try going in after seeing it's fellow get trapped. This isn't a fail-safe trap, just be warned.

The doves seem to be able to work their way out after a bit, but it works like magic on the pigeons, as long as they are baited properly. I put it under my songbird feeder. Caught 5 pigeons in the trap at once.

The cage easily captures chickens, but you have to quickly act to dispose of them because the chickens can squeeze through the bars to escape, especially when in a panic. It was an amazing thing to watch.

Pigeons would not go into it. They went all around it. But would not go in. I think they are too smart here. But the construction is a good high quality for $100. Looks powder coated. Engineered well. Great idea. And I liked it but I have to return it unfortunately. Gave it several days and lots of birds but they won’t even touch it for some reason. I’d suggest it to others though. I re packed it as requested inside the box. Also it’s grey not white which is fine.
