soft and cushy
I bought this for my bass playing son, upon a high recommendation from our guitarist (who also has one). It comes on an off easy enough, and it's a lot softer than his previous strap... He's been gigging with it about a month now and no complaints...

Works Great
I was looking for a sturdy strap that could be easily removed. This was perfect.

Great for heavier guitars
Great quality and the size and density is really what you need for heavier guitars and most basses. I have a 9.5# Les Paul and I first got a thinner Fender strap that looked great and felt great but with heavier guitars really bounced up and down like 10 inches. worked and looks great with my 7.4# Strat though. However back to this one it really helps, the combo of width and thickness for sure is a break for your back and shoulder very stable and no annoying bounce. The locking ends are pretty cool they may look a little clunky but actually work well and are easy and convenient.

Thoughts on the product
A bit long but okay. I modified it easily.

Most comfortable strap for solid body Les Paul’s
This will not fit all guitars. I have a cheap Jackson and it snapped the clip right off. But for Les Paul standards it’s a great fit and the most comfortable strap I’ve ever used.

Buckle snapped in half after 5 months of light usage
tl:drBuckle snapped in half while I was playing after 5 months of light usage. Was using this exclusively for my Les Paul, which weighs ~10 lbs. I only play at home, play standing roughly half the time I play, and when I do stand, I'm not jumping around or doing anything that would put stress on the strap. Also have other guitars in my rotation, so my LP gets played ~30% of the time. Just snapped while I was playing, and luckily I was in a position to catch my guitar. Seeking a refund.Edit: refund denied by seller, told to contact Ernie Ball directly. Customer support form on Ernie Ball's website doesn't work. at this point not worth my time to call their hotline and try to get my money back.Just a warning for all of those considering this strap or anything else from Ernie Ball. I won't be buying anything made by Ernie Ball in the future.

Comfortable strap. Easiest locking system using standard strap buttons.
I have several guitar straps in a variety of materials. Some lock or have locking devices; some have standard, non-locking ends. Some are stage-y (e.g., studded, decorated, or even covered in faux fur); some are utilitarian. Like the description says, this one is mostly made of neoprene and locks. To my mind, it is more on the utilitarian end. This is not to say it is bad looking -- it is not; it looks well-made and is a really good aesthetic match for my neon green super strat with black hardware -- but rather to say it is not in any way, flamboyant.I like the locking system. It is easier to attach to a guitar than a standard strap, or locking systems that attach to normal strap buttons (e.g., Lock-it, Planet Waves, or Fender strap rings). While this isn't the locking system you want if you need to set your axe on fire and windmill it around your head, I am confident whatever guitar it is attached to is not going to hit the ground on account of the strap end detaching. I was a bit concerned whether the locking end was going to be bulky, but I don't notice it at all. The plastic used for the ends is nicely rounded and has a slightly rubbery texture. I'm not worried about it scratching the guitar finish.I am a bit puzzled by another review that says it doesn't work with SG-style guitars where the front strap button is on the backside of the guitar body. While (a) I'm not a big fan of the SG strap button design, and (b) for those guitars I prefer a strap that fits more flush (inset locking strap mount or a standard strap), this strap worked just fine. And oh yeah, the strap is comfortable. Its width distributes the weight. The neoprene gives it padding and enough friction to keep the guitar from shifting around, and the edges are rounded so they don't bite.UPDATE (Dec. 2021): I've had this strap for a year and a half, and it has lived on the abovementioned "neon green super strat," a Schecter Sun Valley. By "lived," I mean the strap never comes off the guitar, even when it is sitting in a stand. I want to report that I see zero scratches from the strap. Just thought I would mention that after reading reviews saying the strap will scratch your guitar. Shrug, maybe YOURS, but not mine.

Great strap
Definitely made my guitars feel lighter, and relived back pain when playing

Amazing on heavier instruments, super comfortable, great locking system
Originally it was intended for an electric guitar. I quickly realized that this strap can really take a lot of strain off a heavier instrument, so naturally I moved it to something heavier, in this instance to P style bass. It just felt instantly better and I was able to have it on for pretty much as long as I wanted now, without feeling strained.I tried it on some light instruments and it's really overkill, but it did come in handy after a back injury. Used on a semi-hollow to remove as much strain as possibly on an already light electric guitar. It legitimately helped. The feel is very nice. Super comfortable strap even directly on skin. Very light weight material, but super strong at the same time. Not the most breathable material, but not the worst. Personally I can live with that considering how awesome everything else is.The locking system is solid. In fact, it's so solid, that the first time I went to remove it, I was afraid I was going to pull the strap button out. Obviously I'm exaggerating, you can unclip without damaging your instrument, it's just the sensation of this the first time was unsettling, I didn't expect the locking system to be that solid. It is extremely sturdy and I am not afraid of having it come out accidentally. Very secure without changing hardware, big plus in my opinion. You can tell right away this a premium item. It is a pricier strap, but a really good one, no denying that.
