I wrapped an object with the leather while wet and the leather dried tight but then it loosened when it got hot. The leather is of good quality and may work for your project. I think this leather is great for baseball glove repairs or other rough stitching. The points I’m gona list are basically just as regards my niche use case: Color: true to images Length: I had to use 2 spools for the full grip, which is fine since I didn’t want to carry the wrap over the riser in the middle anyway. But if I needed to do a continuous wrap it’d need about 8m of cord instead. Strength: the cord is perfectly strong for this, I was pulling very tightly on each wrap around the handle to make sure it went on as taught as possible and there were no issues. Feel: it’s got a sort of waxy/textured finish, which is what I wanted. The cord gives a better grip than the original handle, e.g. a suitable traction on the skin when there’s a bit of moisture from sweat or humidity—and even better when using leather gloves.

Vendor and shipping fine. This is a flat cord, not round, and it's likely synthetic leather. Stronger than I anticipated, meaning I could pull on it fairly well and it didn't give up. Fulfilled my need and the leather dye didn't come off onto my hands.

I got this for putting together parts of a cosplay, and I'm impressed! Considering how cheap it was, it's pretty strong and I really like the color. It's exactly what I wanted it to be!

New soccer ball laces.
I bought these laces with the hopes of restoring the laces on an old soccer ball and I was hoping for an authentic look. My biggest concern was would they be strong enough at 3mm. I'm super happy with the outcome. The laces themselves are quite strong for 3mm as I was able to pump up the ball to the proper inflation without issues. Good product in my opinion.
