I'm only sorry i didn't buy it sooner
I purchased this dishwasher in 2022, nearly four years ago, and it has consistently exceeded my expectations. While the price has increased somewhat since my original purchase, it was still one of the most budget-friendly standard compact dishwashers available at the time. By "standard compact," I mean a true dishwasher rather than the ultra-small countertop models that are often little more than plastic boxes resembling miniature microwaves or terrariums. In fact, I came across several of those smaller units that were actually more expensive than the Comfee'. What impressed me most is that this dishwasher offers features that even surpass those found on the full-size built-in dishwasher I purchased in 2019—and that wasn't an inexpensive model. I particularly appreciate the large display and the variety of cycle options and features included. Another advantage is its flexibility: if desired, it can be built into cabinetry and connected directly to a water line for a more permanent installation. I've had a dishwasher for most of my life, with the exception of the first two years in my current apartment, which did not include one and has a very small kitchen. During that time, I quickly realized how much I dislike washing dishes by hand. While staying on top of dishes after every meal would certainly help, I'm not always that disciplined, and I grew tired of seeing dirty dishes accumulate on the countertop. Since I live alone, I typically run this dishwasher every two or three days, which works perfectly for my needs. Having used dishwashers for many years, I was initially concerned that this model only sprays from below rather than from both the top and bottom. However, I have not found this to be a problem at all. As with any dishwasher, proper loading is important to maximize capacity while ensuring everything gets cleaned effectively. Detergent quality also plays a significant role. I use a well-known detergent brand with "Complete" in the name, along with a popular rinse aid, and I've relied on both products for years with excellent results. When loaded correctly, this dishwasher can hold a surprising amount of dishes, and everything consistently comes out sparkling clean. Overall, it has been a reliable, efficient, and worthwhile purchase that I would gladly buy again.

Excellent Dishwasher – Quiet and Powerful
I recently purchased this dishwasher and I'm very happy with it. Installation was straightforward, and it runs much quieter than I expected. The cleaning performance is excellent—dishes come out spotless, even with heavily soiled loads. I also like the different wash cycle options and the energy efficiency. Overall, this dishwasher offers great value for the price and has made kitchen cleanup much easier. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient dishwasher.

Great dishwasher
I bought this to use in our rental home because it didnt have a dishwasher. It fit perfectly on the countertop. It only took a few minutes to hook up to water line. We put drain hose in sink when we ran a load. This little dishwasher worked fabulous for 3 years while in the rental home. I was able to put our dinner plates, glasses, and silverware in it. It was quiet and the dishes came out clean. It is perfect for a rental home, dorm room, or even a camper.

Took me a bit to write this - needed usage
Ok, WOW. It took me a little bit from my original order to write this because I wanted to get some usage out of this. I live in an apartment which is older and doesn’t have a dishwasher, but I was sick of doing dishes by hand. I thought to buy this and I needed to make some adjustments so that’s why it took me a long time. 1. This dishwasher is NOT compatible with pull-out faucets. I had to learn the very hard way. Pull-out faucets are not equipped for high pressure situations. This is one of those situations. I had to buy SO many adapters just to make the dishwasher spout to fit and with those stacked up with eachother; water was spraying everywhere! Fast forward, I got great usage, but the dishes weren’t coming out clean and water eventually leaked out of the bottom of the sink all over the floor because the hose busted under pressure. 2. I had to find a faucet compatible. I asked my pall ChatGPT to find one compatible. I did and once that was installed, the dishwasher worked PERFECTLY. The dishes were HOT and clean. 3. As you can see by my pictures, you need counter space or it installed under the sink. You really should take the specs and measure your space before buying. That said, the height and width are perfect for where I have it. 4. I chose the color white to match my other appliances and to stand out from my dark cabinets. Though, if silver was an option, I would have bought that. 5. You can fit larger dishes than what is recommended, but you have to tilt them and make it fit. 6. You can put extremely dirty and caked food on the dishes in there and they’d come clean, but I rinse them before to keep the longevity of the machine. 7. You have to play around with the functions and choose the drying function on top of your cleaning function, which adds like 15 minutes. If you don’t, the dishes are wet. If so, leave the door cracked open when it’s done to dry them, but I wouldn’t recommend because you get water stains then. I put a stone mat on top that can absorb water if I don’t want to wait and I have a dish rack on the other side that I use to drain water if needed. 8. Yes, it cleans pots and pans great. Overall, I LOVE this. I feel like I never have to do a dish again, but I have to if I use a big pot that won’t fit. There’s two house chores that I hate. I hate folding laundry and I hate doing dishes… You will not be disappointed in this machine. Promise. Just have the compatible things and learn the functions and you’re set. Thanks for reading.

FREAKING LOVE IT!
UPDATE NOV 27TH 2025, I knew when it came to the holidays I was really gonna be putting this dishwasher to the test. Well....... happy to say there was no issues at all running this between 12-14 times in 2 days! It felt so strange not having to hand wash sinks full of dishes while cookin for thanksgiving! So I've had this a few weeks now..... I FREAKING LOVE THIS THING! definitely worth what I paid, definitely worth having. Its way to big for my counter top so I had to order a roll around kitchen island. I'm completely fine with that :) I do have to get creative on how I load my 10.5" plates, but definitely making it work with those. I mainly use the quick wash on it an sometimes the rinse option if there's still a lot of suds left in the bottom after a wash cycle. So far everything has been coming out completely clean, an dry. I use the finish dishwasher tablets, an finish rinse aid. I'm honestly surprised how quiet it is, so being in the same open space while it's running is no problem at all. The only thing that scared me when I first ran it was when the water drains I was not expecting it an it scared the bajeezus outta me lol but other then that extremely quiet! We're a family of 3, you'd think we wouldn't have a lot of dishes but when you have a 14yr old that eats like he's a linebacker the dishes pile up quickly! This dishwasher usually gets ran twice a day once for plates, cups, etc. 2nd wash is usually pots and pans an lids. Its definitely been worth the investment. Quality is nice an not heavy at all for as big as it is, but if your short like me you'll need to have a little umph to get it up on your counter, or island. I'm glad after looking for months at different types of countertop dishwashers that I chose this one. Functions great, looks great, easy to hook up, easy to use, and cleans better then I ever could. only down side is if your in an old house like me an your cabinets are low it may not fit on your counter so you may need a roll around island like I have or a cart. I knew this going into the purchase so I already had an island on order when I got this. Its a purchase you won't have buyers remorse on :)

Small but works great.
It is small. I wasn't able to hold as many dishes inside as I had in mind. Sometimes It doesn't seem like it washes enough dishes at once to justify buying it. Our plates dont fit upright so if I put two in there then I can't do much else. It takes up a lot of space. However, that was my expectations and preferences. The unit itself is easy to set up, and cleans everything well. I have started to fill it with small things like cups, silverware, etc and hand wash the bigger things. I may buy a smaller plate set. I did buy the rolling cart pictured underneath it. I also put a picture of the cart I ordered, if you wanted something similar. It really freed up counter space and allowed me to move it back and forth to the sink easier.

It's a good dishwasher. Fit what I was willing to spend at the time but not my needs.
I bought this in January of 2024. If you like to cook, this may not be the right size for you. If you have more than 2 people you're cooking for, this may not be the best for for you (unless you're good with using it multiple times a day). This is a good summer dishwasher for when you're not cooking much, not so good for baking season. It's more of a companion type dishwasher, the type you use after you've hand washed all the big stuff and all that's left are plates that have already been soaking and silverware that you can load up, hit wash, and go to bed. There is a button for pots and pans, it does wash those well, it just takes a long time and other dishes need to be taken care of as well. Maybe I'm impatient but I don't like it taking the time between finishing lunch and prepping dinner to do all the lunch dishes (2 loads) just to have to start the dinner dishes and hour later. If it's just one or two people and noone stove/oven cooks much, this is great. We're not those people. If you simply want a separate dishwasher for your baby's bottles and other dishes, this is a good companion to your regular dishwasher. If you're looking for something smaller because you think it'll be more energy efficient, consider your real life. Will it really be or will you be doing more loads? For the amount of loads this beautiful little piece of machinery has done, it's done them well. It does not fit between my counter top and my cabinets so it sits awkwardly next to my sink barely fitting in the remaining space due to the cabinet layout, but it works well.

Good but has a slight problem
I bought this Comfee Countertop Dishwasher and overall it works good and gets the job done. It cleans dishes well for a small unit and is great if you don’t have space for a full-size dishwasher. Easy to use and hasn’t given me any issues once it’s running. The main thing to watch out for is the water inlet hose connection. The fitting is extremely tight—I had to use a wrench to get it on, whereas my old one went on easily by hand. It almost feels like it’s slightly too big or just not designed the best. I’ve seen other reviews mentioning leaks, and honestly I think this connection might be the reason. If it’s not seated just right, I could see it leaking. Other than that, it works fine and does what it’s supposed to. Just be careful during setup with the hose connection.

Seven cents to wash dishes while I watch TV? Absolutely!
I can't praise this dishwasher enough! Years ago I worked as a parts and service manager, so I know what to expect in a major appliance. I owned a portable Inglis (full-sized) dishwasher back then and I loved it. But now (for the past 10 years), my galley kitchen is too small for one. I don't mind hand-washing dishes; I find it a rather Zen chore. But recently, a friend moved in and he goes through A LOT of dishes. I needed a solution. Then I found this portable D/W and it is amazing! The only differences between this D/W and my Inglis are its size and that the coupler/power cord does not retract into the machine. Since this D/W is stationary, it's actually easier to roll the hoses and tuck them along the side (instead of trying to feed them back into it). Like any portable D/W, when it stops, you turn the hot water tap off and release the pressure from the coupler (press the little red button on the coupler) before detaching it from the faucet. Pull the hoses down into the sink and shake the coupler to remove excess water before tucking it away. Invest in some Teflon tape for the connections and tighten well for no leaks. Also, run the hot water tap before connecting the coupler to ensure hot water delivery into the machine. (D/Ws have an element to heat the water before running the wash cycle. Putting hot water in at the get-go saves energy and allows the unit to begin the wash cycle sooner.) When not in use, always leave the D/W door ajar, so it can breathe. Over time, this reduces the amount of odor absorbed by the gaskets inside the machine (all D/Ws get stinky) and prevents rusting. When adding detergent, it is better to use less than more. The "normal" cycles run about 90 minutes, so a little soap goes a long way. Lastly, when the dry cycle kicks in, stop the machine and open the door to let the steam out. Pull the rack out and - without removing anything - use a paper towel to sop up any excess water sitting on cups or glasses (since that water will not evaporate). - Do not remove any dishes when they are hot as they are more likely to shatter, causing potential harm to you and your machine. - Roll the rack back into the unit and turn the drying cycle back on. I have washed my Lagostina pots and glass lids in this COMFEE D/W and was truly shocked at how crystal clear the lids came out - like new! I have used the machine for about a week, every day, sometimes twice, and it does the job flawlessly regardless what I throw into it. It works great, is remarkably quiet, uses the equivalent of a half-sink full of water, costs HALF A KW/H (7 cents) per run and looks fabulous on the counter. I love it. With good care, this real D/W (albeit miniature) could last 5 years.
