Great mini mic for beginners
I got this Mike to start making content and it works great! It does come with a USB-C so if you do not have a USB-C port in your phone, you will need to get cable or cord to fix that! It blocks out a lot of noise on my busy street. It’s really easy to set up and it gives really great quality audio. The magnetic clip is really strong and the case it comes in is great for storage, including the little bag. It comes with. It has pockets inside to store the cords that come with it.

Compact mic system with impressive audio quality
I’ve been really impressed with how convenient and portable this mic setup is for content creation, vlogging, interviews, and social media videos. The microphones connected quickly and the audio quality sounded noticeably clearer and more professional compared to built-in phone audio. Voices came through crisp without needing a complicated setup, which made filming much easier. The charging case is also a huge plus because it keeps everything organized and extends battery life while traveling or filming on the go. I liked how lightweight the transmitters felt when clipped onto clothing, and the wireless range worked reliably during use. Overall, this feels like a great investment for creators who want better sound quality without carrying around bulky recording equipment.

The best upgrade I've made for content creation — crystal clear audio, zero fuss
I've tried a few clip-on mics over the years and the DJI Mic Mini (2 TX + 1 RX + Charging Case) is genuinely in a different league. Whether you're a vlogger, content creator, interviewer, or just someone tired of muffled on-camera audio — this is the mic you need. Audio is clean, warm, and surprisingly full for such a compact transmitter. Background noise is handled well and voices come through with real clarity — the kind of quality that makes editing so much easier because you're not trying to salvage bad footage. The wireless range is solid for everyday shooting — walking around a room, filming outdoors, moving between setups — it held the connection without dropouts in my testing. The fact that it also works with a cable when you need guaranteed reliability is a smart safety net that a lot of competitors skip. The charging case is a standout. It keeps all three units organised, charges them on the go, and is genuinely pocket-sized. The transmitters clip securely and don't tug on clothing. This is a kit you'll actually take with you. Perfect for solo creators and two-person interviews alike — having two transmitters in the box means you're immediately set up for dual-speaker scenarios without buying extras. Pairs brilliantly with a smartphone, mirrorless camera, or action cam. It's a premium product at a premium price — but if audio quality matters to your content, it absolutely earns that cost. Not the right buy if you only need occasional recording, but for regular creators it's a no-brainer investment. Compact, reliable, and genuinely great sounding. My content has levelled up noticeably since switching to this. Highly recommended for anyone serious about their audio.

A fantastic value investment for content creation
I purchased this for use with both my DSLR and my phone. I do a lot of keyboard and PC peripheral reviews. My phone mic was not cutting it anymore. This was an affordable and super intuitive solution to get some good quality sound on a portable level. I have not charged thus even once and I've been using it for two weeks, pretty regularly taking snippets of keyboard typing samples. The mics pic up on nuanced sound very well while keeping ambient sound to a minimum. Setup is super easy. On android for instance, just plug in with the USB C connector and it will auto switch to use external mic. Then turn on your mics. Sync is very quick. If they aren't in sync, just hold the sync buttons until flashing on all devices. Easy peasy. Easily one of the better purchases. I'm really happy about the overall build quality as well. Just a really well rounded, versatile, mini mic setup.

Stellar product, almost a jack of all trades
These are totally worth the hype. Comes in a strong durable case that can take some abuse. Works well as a charging option so you can have the devices charge while moving between jobs. The individual battery life is quite good for each of the units in this case setup. They’re really easy to use and pair seamlessly with other DJI tools. The noise cancellation is quite good for recording in rooms filled with ambient noise such as events and festivals. The clip is quite good with the strength of the magnet being a welcome improvement. Absolutely genius to make the spaces in the case allow for the magnets to enter and get rearranged/ realigned on entry.

Sound Is More Important Than Video
Are you looking for an affordable way to start making quality content? If yes, then start with audio. I can watch 1080p all day, no problem, but if I hear that echo from a bare room, or you're fifteen feet away from the camera and screaming so as to try and reach the cameras microphones, I'm out. Clicking away. I know you've experienced this too. The DJI Mic Mini offers you a very fair price to start a podcast, create video content, and impress your mom. Opening this brought a lot of excitement, mostly, I just love good products, but I had a lot anticipation as to what the Mic Mini was going to provide. It comes with two microphone transmitters, a receiver, the charging case, two types of wind screens (two grey for superior wind reduction and two black for discreteness), usb a to c charging cable, a TRRS audio cable, and a nifty little travel bag to store it all in. The charging case is small enough to fit in your pocket, but you wouldn't want to leave it there. Everything is plastic, but it doesn't feel cheap. The design seems to have a lot of thought put into it. For starters, the full package comes with a small usb c adapter that slides onto the bottom of the receiver, allowing you to connect this to any device that has a type c usb, this comes stored along the back wall of the charging case. It not only stores the adapter, but also doubles as a place to hold the tiny cover removed in order to attach the adapter. The best part? You don't have to remove the adapter from the bottom of the receiver to put it back into the case! I thought this was so cool. So if you only use the receiver with the type c adapter attached, you can treat it as such without the hassle of removing it each time as the case has a hollowed out portion along the bottom of it that allows the receiver to slide into it's dock, trouble free. There is also a duplicate storage section along that back of the wall of the charging case plugged with a rubber grommet you could use for a second adapter, maybe you're still using an iPhone with a lightning port or something. Another great feature I thought was cool is that you can monitor the audio coming out of the microphone by plugging any ol' set of headphones into the receiver. This allows you to hear what it sounds like as you record! I am so happy with this product. The day I got it, the very hour I opened it up and attached it to my phone, the microphone worked. The receiver and transmitters link themselves through the charging case and I didn't have to fumble through an app to get it setup. Which, if you're like me, I am hesitant to install another app on my phone, it means a lot. The DJI Mic Mini can be operated using a majority of it's features, like recording in mono vs stereo, enabling the sound suppression, and pairing itself to other bluetooth devices with the interaction of buttons on the transmitter and receivers. Now, there are things that can't be done without the DJI Mimo App, like a second level of noise suppression, and recording in mono with a safety track, but if you just want it to get up and running and have most of what you need to record a video. The app-less capabilities are great. I didn't think battery life was gonna be one of my favorite features, but while going over material to make my review on the DJI Mic Mini, I realized how long the transmitters themselves, the receiver, and the case last on one charge. Precisely for the fact that I haven't charged this since it came out of the box. A weekend warrior here, so i've only used it for projects during my time off, but still, I would say that i've recorded over 10 hours of footage with it. My wife also used it for a two hour virtual workshop, ten hours isn't a lot, but considering that i've had to replace 10 batteries through my camera during that time, the DJI Mic Mini charging case combo saves me time. To be honest, I can't think of any downsides. Maybe the fact that it doesn't have onboard internal recording as backup, 32 bit float for audio clipping, or the best bluetooth connectivity (as others have reported), and if that is the case then you need to be looking at the DJI Mic 2, which features all these things in the same from factor as the bundled version of the DJI Mic Mini in a charging case. Or maybe I want the advanced noise suppression and microphone controls without the app, but that might be asking a lot and I should just download it. Couple this with a modern smartphone and you have the ability to reach millions of people. Think about how many shorts, reels, and tiktoks you've seen with just someone holding a wireless mic. I bet you a large portion uses one from DJI. This brand is reputable and there a lot of people who attest to their quality and their price to performance ratios. If you're a noob, or even a seasoned content creator, the DJI Mic Mini is right for you. Whatever your use case may be, the quality of sound this product makes for the cost it takes to buy one, is about as good as it gets.

Phenomenal Microphones. Precision Design.
Really phenomenal microphones. I'm a bit of a picky audiophile when it comes to clear sound recordings. I've tested many different wireless lapel microphones on Amazon including the Rhøde Wired, the JBL Quantum Stream, and some other no-nanes. As you'll surely find out, if you purchase any other brand of no-name microphones on Amazon, you can expect disappointment with the audio quality. No matter how bright and exciting their marketing images are - most are the same underlying components just arranged in different plastic shells. DJI, of course, is an actual brand designing their own actual reputable product. The magent is incredibly strong and makes the microphones twice as versatile to use on any clothing (facing inside or outside), the range is great, the connectivity is very simple, and it has loads of features I didn't even realize two weeks later. First - ditch your remote camera shutter button. It doesn't mention this anywhere that I've personally seen (not even on the case where it shows some explicit button diagrams), but you can Single Press on the Mic Pair Button to send a Volume Up command to your phone. (You know what this means - it's a shutter button.) I used to use a JBL Quantum Stream before this and I always needed a Remote Shutter Button. Wasn't a huge inconvenience, but the fact it's built in makes this 5 star product design. (And overall, compared to the JBL Quantum Stream the DJI Mic Mini 2 knocks it out of the water - and I even thought the JBL microphone was pretty nice! Not to mention these are a pair of mics.) Note: The one thing that the JBL Quantum Stream mic has that this doesn't is an on-mic mute button. Perhaps a software update could introduce this as an alternative option for short pressing the Power Button, instead of Noise Cancellation Toggles? Speaking of which, the noise cancellation is great. Like I mentioned I'm pretty particular about my audio, and whether I'm going to let a microphone do it automatically versus me doing it in post. It's solid cancellation that I'm going to use almost all the time. There are also many other features you can unlock with the Mimo Phone app, like splitting tracks into Stereo or Mono, Noise Cancellation Strength, Level Readings, etc. (Still no Mute button there though unfortunately.) One small detail I also love is that I can attach the wind screens to the mics and still close the case. That's a small detail I couldn't get with my Quantum Stream, and I knew that I would eventually lose the cover. (Surprisingly it was the clip that gave out first for JBL. I somehow never did lose the wind screen.). The wind screens are also much, much easier to attach and detatch. They snap very securely in place. I do physical CAD design every now and then, and every part of the product design is precision. The little clicks that occur when you're snapping on the USB C component in, or the dust cover. The clicks that happen when you raise or lower the gain knob. The tactile grit of the knob. The way the case latches shut. The carrying case itself is quality. I had to improvise my own before to avoid losing my JBL wind screen. This has plenty of space for the additional black wind screens, charging cables, 9mm jack connector. Plus, I love the fact that the case itself has the USB C connector in mind. It closes without needing to detatch the USB C component. Highly functional. Highly versatile. Wonderful audio quality. (The only possible suggestion I would have is to introduce a Mute function which wouldn't require me to power off the microphone entirely.) 5/5. I'll probably buy it again as a gift for my family or friends if they start to get into content creation.

Not iPhone 14 compatible
Quality and functionality all work great, only problem is i cannot get them to work with my iPhone 14 at all which is the only reason im leaving a 4 star (i was sold on being able to use it on my current iPhone as well) , even with the lighting adapter still no luck or Bluetooth even when my phone let me connect to the mic as a device. it just won’t pick it up anytime i film a video on my phone. Newer phone like iPhone 16 works fine (tested on my girls new phone) on a c adapter - and worked great on my a6400 camera , good sound quality aswell. But you’ll prob have issues getting it to synce to an “older iPhone” even with adapter, main use i got it for was for my mirrorless so im not too upset about the phone not syncing
