Fun, strategic travel adventure for all ages
We picked up Trekking the World and it quickly became one of our favorite games. It’s easy to learn and doesn’t take forever to play, but still has enough strategy to keep things interesting. The goal is to travel around the world, collect souvenirs, and visit different destinations—it’s fun and surprisingly educational. The artwork is beautiful, and the game pieces are of really nice quality. It’s not too hard, so it works well for adults and older kids. We’ve played it with friends and family, and everyone’s enjoyed it. Highly recommend if you like travel-themed games that are both relaxing and engaging.

Fun, easy to learn, great for adults, families and single players
Fantastic game that my 9 year old was able to slaughter me at on our first try playing it It's so hard to find great games that adults can enjoy and kids can play competitively. It was so special to see my child succeed handily. It was also quick and easy to learn. We didn't even have to watch a video, the instructions are so well done and easy to refer to during the game. I also love that there is a single player version. It is common in our family to want to play games on our own when others are busy. It's so amazing that the game makers understand that we don't always have someone to play with and added and adapted version to accommodate single player games.

Fun Family game!
Gave to our son for Christmas and it has been a fun game to play as a family! Love the strategy and the information on all the different places! We want to copy the map to start marking where we want to visit!

Fun and Easy to Learn, but Some Design Errors
This is an enjoyable and well-thought-out game that is easy to learn and fun to play. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to a couple of design errors: 1. Geography Mistake: Petra (Jordan) is listed as being in Africa, but Jordan is actually a country in Asia, not Africa. It should have been categorized as part of Asia. 2. Encounter Card Issue: One of the encounter cards instructs players to take any tour card that costs $3, but the lowest-priced tour card is $5. We had to make a quick adjustment by using a marker to avoid confusion. While these are minor issues, I would expect better accuracy and attention to detail in a $50 board game. Despite these errors, the game is still enjoyable, but it could benefit from a bit more polish.

Great game for homeschooling and family night!
We love this game! It’s a fun educational addition to our homeschool, but we have found ourselves playing it even on family game nights. It’s beautifully made too, which I appreciate. My kids are 7,9 and 11 and my youngest only needs a little help.

TOO DIFFICULT TO PLAY
EXPENSIVE....Beautiful and fascinating, but we finally gave up trying to play it as it must be built for geniuses. We tried to play with it with expert gamer friends, but none of us could quite figure it out. I should have returned it, but was we just kept trying to understand. very complicated. We love travel and I have lived, studied & travelled to so many places, this seemed like a perfect gift, but really disappointed. Maybe we can donae it to an AP Social Studies class at our local high school!
